The staff is everything. My husband ordered his sandwich with tomatoes, they had none. We got our food at the table and the staff got tomatoes from next door. Now that is service!

I'm a big fan of Captain D'S. But this time I am very disappointed. While most of my food was ok, the fried shrimp ( or should I say, shrimp jerky) was the worst I have ever had, anywhere!!! They are already very small. But when you cook them to death, it's unacceptable. There was no hint of shrimp to them. On the other hand, the lobster bites were absolutely delicious. Good food can happen. All they have to do is pay attention to what they are doing.

The Captain D's in Hazlehurst is by far the best one I have ever eaten at. It is always clean, friendly, and food is hot, fresh, and delicious. Our order is always right. Worth the 30 mile drive past another location.

Just left there and got home and my baked potatoes is rotten. This is disgraceful, they knew it was rotten when they cut it open - why sell it like this??? Not coming back here.

I frequent this particular Captain D’s at least once per week, some weeks more, during my work lunch break. Speed of service is crucial to me as I have limited time during my break. A young lady named Tanisha is the reason I return over and over again. She is extremely friendly, attentive and efficient. She remembers me, knows what condiments I want and quick to tell me of any current promotions I may be interested in. It is extremely rare these days to find service workers who are willing to engage with their customers like this. I have noticed over the past few weeks that some employees around her are starting to adopt some of her ethics. Friendliness and a positive attitude are contagious and keeps me coming back to this location. Each day just prior to clocking out for lunch I go through my lunch options in my head trying to decide where I want to go. Tanisha and Captain D’s makes that decision easy. I know what I’m getting when I go here.
Oh yeah, the food is always a hot and prepared properly as well.
