Go here alot when I am in town working and the locals love coming here. I had a pimento cheese bacon friend tomato sandwich that was insane good. The sweet potatoes waffle fries were very sweet and sugary like desert…very tasty.

Found this while traveling. This restaurant is an old house that has been kept up or renovated (not sure which one) but it is charming. The menu has a variety of items in case you are not sure what you want. They also offer 3 or 4 daily specials that are not listed on menu. They offer sandwiches and wraps or a meal with meat and vegetables.

The waitress was very nice and stayed on top of her job. They make you feel welcome as you walk in, and the other customers were friendly.

The prices are fair and the food was good. I selected the Pattie Melt from the specials and it did not dissapoint. It was bigger than it looked.

Some of the other dishes that came out while I was waiting also looked good.

If I come back through Hazlehurst GA. I will stop here again.

Great food and such a wonderful setting in a restored two story home that has been converted into a restaurant.

I've been here several times and really thought the food was great. I almost always get a small or large Greek salad with my food. It's great. I had a super delicious mushroom special there once, and they have great fries. I'm a vegetarian, if no one's catching on. I have strictly eaten there with non-vegetarians, though, and they have all been super happy with their food. Service has always been great. I've never had to wait for a table, and the wait staff has done a really good job while still being relaxed and jovial. I'm only going to give them four stars, though, because although the outside of the house is really lovely, once you enter, it becomes pretty austere. I don't really mind the fact that it's not a tablecloth-top place or even that the chairs are not cushioned. It's the combination of that with the paint color on the wall and the choice of art and lighting and light level. It just makes it feel a little cold in there. It's not an environment I want to spend much time in. I kept hoping that after they were open for a bit, they would add some warmer artwork or lower the light levels, but they've been open for a while now, and that has yet to happen. Even though the people I've gone with have felt similarly, it does not seem to be affecting their business. They seem to be quite busy, and therefore, I would suggest giving this place a turn on your roster.❤️ My review if it's helpful.

Absolutely wonderful! This restaurant is the ONLY gem you'll find in this desolate wasteland known as Hazlehurst.

The waitresses seem to have too much going on or too many tables to pay proper attention to the customers.

The place is located inside of an old house, that adds to the place's charm! The food was delicious and the service was good.

Amazing food!
*El Camino sandwich - homemade pimento cheese, bacon, fried green tomatoes on grilled sourdough bread
*Chicken Fried Chicken - mashed potatoes and green beans

The sandwich was so good! The tomatoes were sliced medium thickness so you can actually taste them. I wish there was more pimento cheese on the sandwich.
The chicken was a small piece, but delicious. It seems the portions here run small. The guys table over ordered the Philly cheesesteak sub and it seemed like there was barely any meat, mostly bread. The old house was beautiful. Inside is clean and well kept and clean. I highly recommend.

We go here often while traveling in the area for work. By far the best place to we have found to eat in Hazlehurst, but it can take some time for the food to come so don't try to squeeze it in if you've got something else to get to.
