They had a variety of options for Vegans (hummus, Burgers, Bratwurst, etc). It was nice to order off of the menu with a couple of changes.

One of the best restaurants in Helen!

First time at this restaurant. Appetizers were very delightful. Got the humus with pita bread and the spinach dip. 9/10. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap. Pretty good tbh! My girl ordered the black bean Mac bowl. (First time ever trying it) she took one bite and realized she made a mistake ordering this item bc she didn’t like how it tasted. Something tasted off. Manager said they have to charge us for the meal that my girl took ONE bite out of. She proceeded to argue with me about the meal and said she will call the police on me if I do not pay for a meal that had ONE BITE OUT of it. She said “this is not a test trail” this is how they treat new customers who just so happen to order something new to try. We wanted to swap it out with the beyond burger instead due to my girl being vegetarian. However, they couldn’t even do that for us. Terrible place. Terrible customer service. Terrible experience wouldn’t recommend to anybody.

Amazing German food and beer with an awesome view of the Chattahoochee River

Crappy drinks that we did not drink. Manager would not remove. Not a very nice crew. Rap playing. Sticky tables. Unprofessional bar staff.

Second time here! Great view of the river and tubers. Our family enjoyed our lunch: Bavarian pretzel was large and tasty. We also had the Reuben, German Wurst Platter, and Buffalo Chicken Wrap. All very good. Server Lucas took great care of us!

I really enjoyed the Buffalo chicken wrap, and the service was great! I went up on the weekend for a motorcycle ride with some friends and the server was able to give some awesome suggestions on where to ride.

My favorite place in Helen. Great food and atmosphere and view! Worth a day trip anytime someone is in town visiting.

Food is decent. I got the French dip and the wife got a buffalo chicken wrap that she said was good. The French dip was pretty good however it's pretty small leaving you not very full. Service was good and the river view is pretty awesome.
I guess this place is some sort of homosexual hangout. I dined across from the original buffalo bob(with his little dog) who had a pink mohawk, stuffed bra and shorts so short you could almost see his sack hanging out. So It was nice to have my child facing that for our whole meal.

The cafe has outdoor seating right by the river. We watched the tubers float by. The staff were friendly and gave information about the local area. I had the beyond sausage without the cheese and fries. I enjoyed it.

I was on a family trip, and we decided to eat here. I informed the host that we were a group of about 16 people and were perfectly fine sitting at separate tables, as we planned to have separate checks, just like individual customers. However, the host insisted that there could only be two checks for the entire group. Why? If we weren’t seated together, would they combine checks for other tables that happened to arrive separately? It makes no sense. The service was disappointing, if they truly wanted to accommodate us, they could have found a solution. It felt like they simply didn’t want to put in the effort. UPDATE: That’s correct, yes, about 22 with kids. But we were sitting outside cause we knew we wouldn’t fit and YOU SAID only 2 checks, and we wanted different checks because we were 4 different families and you just said NO, do not change that. Thank you for replying.

The location and food were absolutely delightful. Though $3 for essentially 2oz of a side is rather high, my girlfriend and I didn’t mind and thought the food tasted excellent.

What made me walk out completely frustrated was not the food or the atmosphere, but the service/establishment. Our waitress was mediocre at best with long wait times to be greeted, but I can get past all that. My girlfriend and I came in to share a meal, and it wasn’t till the bill came that we saw we were getting charged a “share plate” that we didn’t ask for but were given none the less. Apparently, it’s in the fine print on the menu but neither my girlfriend nor I saw it, and the waitress certainly didn’t mention it when we had placed the order. In addition, her attitude towards it when we addressed it was very dismissive and rude. Also thank god I payed cash because otherwise I would’ve been charged even more! Guess that was in the fine print on the menu as well. Shouldn’t have to get legal counsel to look over a menu to find out the fine print on things before I sit down and share a sandwich with my girl.

Food was good, the location by the river is nice. Waitress took close to 10 minutes to even greet us. I was dining with my boyfriend, and we ordered one meal to split. The food was brought out by someone else who was not our server, we never got drink refills, she didn’t come back until the end when we had been done for quite a while. When the check was brought, they had charged us for an “extra plate” is what it said on the bill. We didn’t ask for an extra plate, they just brought it with the food and charged us for it. When we asked the waitress about it, she was not courteous, did not apologize, did not explain, she just told us that it’s on the menu.
