Caledonia Room at Valhalla Resort Hotel

From an anniversary dinner it was fabulous! The red Sangria was the best I've had. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. The food was delicious!

My wife and I just returned from celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary, at the Valhalla Resort Hotel. We absolutely LOVED it! The minute we drove up to the hotel’s front door, we were greeted by Steve, a tremendous valet! He genuinely treated us like we were the most important people in the hotel, right from the get go! Then, as we walked into the hotel, Judy welcomed us in with a smile, and explained to us what Valhalla had to offer. I felt like we were visiting with friends! Our room was beautiful, and quite festive, as our youngest daughter purchased the “Celebrate You” package for us! Later that evening, we went to have a drink at the Sky Bar, which has beautiful Mountain Views! Matt was the bartender, who fixed us an Old Fashioned, a Jalapeño Margarita. DELICIOUS! Matt is full of personality, and was right on point both days we spent time with him! Lastly, we met Jerry Murdock, the owner. Jerry was as kind as can be, and is an absolute riot! Thank you Valhalla, for helping to make our 30th wedding anniversary a most special one! We will be back!

Excellent appetizer was very good. We had the shrimp with crab meat for the main entrée. I found my steak to be very tough slightly overcooked. Dessert was excellent which gave me the reason for giving it a four because I had a great appetizer and an excellent dessert. The building seems to be a little bit ran down. Did not like the idea of parking behind the place and having to come in through a back door in order to get in. Because we didn't want to do valet, that needs to change in my opinion

Meal was excellent as was service and atmosphere. A very enjoyable anniversary dinner experience.

Wonderful meal with excellent service. The pecan crusted trout was delicious, as were the accompanying sides. Always a consistently good experience dining at Valhalla!

Food was good, service was great and the views of the mountains was great also, will definitely be going back in October to see the fall colors!

This was a special birthday dinner that hit all of the marks. Delicious food, beautiful view, and great service. We hope to visit again soon!

When we got there, there was a storm so the place was a bit more empty than usual. However, the entire crew was super great and the chef even came out to meet and greet. Food was very good and the view amazing. Alexandria was our server and she was absolutely fantastic! I strongly suggest dining here even if you are not a guest. Pricey, but wonderful.

The food was amazing! From the Brussels sprouts, the salads, and the sea bass was superb! The wine list was amazing as well. The Chef came around to talk to the guests. The staff was very attentive. Definitely would go back again when in town.

Very welcoming front of the house staff. Attentive and helpful. However, the food quality was atrocious and I suspect they're attempting to pass off a slice of beef tenderloin as filet and flounder as Chilean Sea Bass. I haven't been this disappointed in the quality of food at a restaurant in a while. Front of the house cares... you can tell. But, the food is beyond substandard and nowhere near fine dining. BEWARE.

Found our new favorite place for a good meal! When I reviewed the menu I quite honestly wanted to try everything. My wife ordered the salmon and I got the pecan crusted trout. Both were excellent. The service was wonderful and we will be back!

What an amazing experience! While on vacation, we chose The Caledonia for my birthday brunch. We were not disappointed. The view was incredible despite the rain and heavy clouds masking the mountain view. Our server was delightful and on point with timing and order accuracy. We enjoyed our food beyond expectation. All menu items sounded delicious and if we lived in the area, we would be regulars! Because it was my birthday, they brought out a surprise 🎉 Highly recommend!!

My experience was amazing, went to celebrate wedding anniversary with my lovely wife. She ordered the filet mignon and I got the rack of lamb. Everything was decadent and amazing!

This is a beautiful place with outstanding service The executive chef Tim came over to ask how our food was and spent several minutes talking to us . I thought that was a very nice thing for him to do. He genuinely cares about his job and the satisfaction of his guests. Highly recommend the is restaurant!
