The food was amazing, kudos chef. Service and ambiance not so much. I wasn't expecting the other table nearby to have a sing-along at their table nor was I expecting dogs to be barking inside the restaurant.
By far, the best dining in Helen, GA. We had the Chilean Sea bass and the trout. Both fantastic. The short rib app was also very nice. The bread pudding was ok, but not as great as everything else. Probably should have opted for the Tiramisu. Beautiful formal dining room, set up wonderfully. Great view from window seats as well. Pleasant, well trained and knowledgeable service staff. They also have an amazing private room for parties of up to 10, that would make for an exceptional...
We arrived early for our reservation and requested seating on the verandah. This is the scenic overlook, but we were told that it was entirely booked. By the time we finished our meal and dessert there was only one occupied table on the verandah. We will come back, but be assured that we will look carefully, again, at the seating options.
