We had such a great experience at Das Ice Cream Cafe! Not only did they have authentic spaghetti eis like I had in Germany, but they absolutely loved my dogs and gave them a free pup cup!
Das Ice Cream Cafe continues to blend local acquired ingredients, into the most delicious ice cream. There are so many varieties, each with a unique taste sensation. This was our second trip, from Florida, to Helen. Our first stop was Das Ice Cream Cafe, for scoops of the adult flavor, Bourbon Carmel Pecan. We talked with the owners while sampling several other flavors, Pumpkin Pie and Peanut Butter Cup, which were crazy good! It was obvious that they love what they do, are proud to promote local businesses , really care about the quality of their ice cream, and thrive on interacting with customers and sharing the history of Helen. Just heard about the new Das Ice Cream By The Bridge…I see specialty coffee and maybe more ice cream in my future!

Amazing flavors of ice creams as well as Adult, alcohol infused ice creams. We tried one with bourbon and it was delicious. Our others were chocolate and caramel varieties, with the exception of the seemingly out of place guanabana (which was also good).
Waffle cones and waffle bowls were the better options and well worth it.

Good flavors with some exciting alcohol flavors too. Good ice cream and cones, all made there! You can even do bigger shakes if you want. Good sized scoops. Some dairy free flavors and I believe all the ice cream is egg free too.
The ice cream is delicious! And the staff is very friendly and welcoming.
The BEST ice cream in Helen! The DF German chocolate was delicious.

We visited Das ice cream for the first time and we will definitely be going back! The ice cream options were so fun & unique. We really enjoyed the Oreo ice cream and the dairy free German Chocolate cake! The servers, Jessica and Sarah, were exceptionally helpful and kind. The whole family raved about the ice cream and the experience!
