I had the combo and it was amazing! The beer was great, the food was amazing and the waitress/barmaid was lovely. I highly recommend this hidden Gem.

Every time we tried to go eat they were closed and when my husband spoke with the man on Wednesday he said yeah we will be open Thursday when we drove bye to park the open sign was in and we walked up the sign was off he came out and was like yeah I had to close because a problem with staff. And also mentioned they don’t have there own parking .Such a shame would have loved to try it. Not sure how you stay in business when you’re never open.

Our family of four (2 adults/2 kids 8&6) just ate a delicious lunch here. We got the combo platter and the three peat platter. Everything was so so good. We enjoyed the different krauts and potato salads as well. Even the kids dug in! Highly recommend.

Definitely a hole in the wall vibe. That's not a bad thing really, but not appropriate for large groups really, and they could work out a better AC solution for hotter days. The pierogies are the best in town!

Some of the best food around! Dont miss this place. I had the pierogi platter! Amazing!! Our server was the kindest soul. She even gave us adults fun pink plastic straws. More ac would have been nice. But no complains overall.

We stumbled upon Heidi Haus in the center of Helen after noticing they had pierogis. Growing up in the Midwest these were a staple of our poor but tasty diets. A little smoked kielbasa doesn’t hurt either. It was made-to-order by the owner. Nice guy with good stories to tell about how he ended up in Helen. We wish him all the best.

The food here is ok. Their menu is very limited and my significant's food came out just above lukewarm.

Absolutely delicious! Our table split a sausage platter, pierogis, pyzys, and cabbage rolls - everything was top notch, some of the best I’ve eaten! Everything tasted very authentic and homemade as well. Easily the best restaurant we’ve stopped at in Helen, highly recommend. Our waitress was also very friendly

Stopped in for lunch. Can recommend the combination plate and the mixed sausage sampler. Friendly staff and we got the perfect seat in the corner overlooking the beer garden and main Street.

We stopped in here for lunch Saturday and it was delicious!! I had pierogis and sausage and it was some of the best I’ve had!!! My husband had the pyzy and loved that. It’s perfect for a lunch time stop. The restaurant is tucked in an upstairs suite, so I’m not sure about wheelchair accessibility.
