The Bartender with short light brown hair is unethical. He charged me a 30% tip twice and said it was because they don’t get paid enough. He also turned his phone over so that I could not see the amount. Scam artist bartender.

Your bill will be 30% higher than advertised prices but they won't tell you
Great place with live music and good drinks. BUT be advised the Automatically place a at least 20% gratuity and the don’t tell you and the notice on the menu isn’t that easy to see. Love the place but disappointed!

Stay away during Oktoberfest!!!! The bartender thought I was drunk so when I ordered a beer and a Jagermeister she gave herself a fat tip. I didn’t realize until I tapped to pay and saw the total. When I asked her about it she mumbled something about charges for the cup and “auto gratuities.” When I watched the next three transactions for my friends she selected 20% gratuities for herself, but not the giant one she charged me. Who selects their own tip???

They added a tip without telling us, which is illegal.
We got refill beers in the souvenir cups and it costed $40.49 for 2 beers (Miller Lite). When I asked why it was so expensive the man said, “We automatically charge 20% gratuity.” Never EVER AGAIN. I asked someone why it was so expensive and she went and asked the man.. he said that he forgot to give us the discount for already having our cups. They got me this time, but never will again.

Great place to stop for a beer and music after shopping & eating in town. They have a great musician on Friday-Monday that sings 1970-80 music. Lots of fun!! We stopped 3 times during our stay, but never tried the food, so I can’t comment.

This place is in the center of a lot of stores and eateries. I enjoyed the live music. What I didn’t enjoy was paying $4 more for a drink than advertised then being lied to about it. When we asked our server about it he initially said the menus were several years old and he thought they got rid of all of those, then said about 2 years ago, and then about a month old when we asked follow up questions. He apologized every time he gave us a different timeframe then placed the menu back by the condiments on the table. We asked a woman about it and she told us that the prices changed the week before and that they just haven’t gotten around to making new menus and offered us water for the inconvenience. She also placed the menus back afterwards SMH. It’s a nice area and the food was decent, but I did not appreciate the deceptive pricing and being gaslit by the staff. My recommendation is for anyone that wants reasonably and accurately priced drinks to go to the Mexican restaurant across from the mountain coaster.

Fun place with live music but they charged us double!! And this was just after another restaurant tried adding on 2 extra items to our dinner bill. We loved coming to Helen but it feels like a scam now
I thought this sign was tongue in cheek until the bartender told me the total after handing her my card. Automatic 25% gratuity added to all orders.
