Good location at the heart of popular Helen strip. Family friendly atmosphere. The restaurant itself did not open until 12pm for lunch, and didn't even start serving food until 12:30pm, which was inconvenient for everyone waiting in line so long. Otherwise, good place to stop and relax for a bit.

I used to love coming here and I been going to this place for five years straight. I love the giant beers and the cocktail selections. But it’s definitely changed since then. Every time I go I give a tip especially when I order multiple drinks. They have a sign if you walk out 30% tip will be charged but what they don’t have up is that with every single drink you order a tip will be charged. I don’t like that and I personally feel like you’re stealing from your customers. You don’t put a sign for notice and you sneak the charged in. If I’m paying for mandatory tip then let me know but don’t sneak it especially for a repeat customer like myself.

The beer cheese & pretzel were very good. However, they ran out of every German beer but one. They also stopped making food for an hour because they got too busy. The atmosphere is really nice. Unfortunately, the little blonde lady (server), was yelling at customers, picking random people from the line to take their order, and was just flat out rude. So service was not great. There’s a blonde bartender lady though who was behind the bar and very kind.

First night in town, says it's open until midnight. It is not. The square is barren. Wasted $10 on parking for a 10 minute walk. Not cool, not fair.
This was the spot that everyone seemed to be drawn too. There was entertainment each day and the beer was great. The soft pretzel and cheese was fantastic.

Really wanted to enjoy a delicious Bavarian pretzel with beer cheese and mustard - really a big miss here. It wasn't even warm, the beer cheese tastes canned. Look elsewhere if you want a good pretzel in Helen.
