This place was FANTASTIC, and Savannah was *hands down* one of my favorite servers ever. She deserves a raise, she was so sweet and I swear we were besties by the time my friend and I finished our breakfast. I had the pancakes with bacon and an iced mocha, and he had the schnitzel with eggs, and everything was amazing. It was the perfect ending to our weekend in Helen.
I first heard about Muller’s when I was researching for my vacation. What piqued my interest was the fact that they had gluten free fried food. Not only is the food gluten free, but they have their own separate fryer for gluten free items. I also was able to sit outside with my dog. The food was absolutely amazing, the staff were friendly and attentive, and everything could not have been better. Muller’s was the only restaurant I went back to twice on my trip. If you’re in Helen, GA Muller’s is a must try
Wonderful food! A great place to eat in Helen, Georgia!
I'll start off by saying this is not a completely negative review, but it is honest. I'll start off with the positive, the fried cheese sampler with the 3 cheeses on the stick was really good, we enjoyed that. My 5 year old really enjoyed the hot chocolate. And to the negatives, I get it, it's cold but very comfortable in the seating area, but the Jaeger schnitzel and the cordon Bleu schnitzel were served cold, It had a great taste but not worth 100 dollars for what we got. so the cheese sampler, 1 hot chocolate, 1 kids spaetzle with tomato sauce, 1 Jaegerschnitzel and whatever the cordon Bleu schnitzel is called with 2 sweet teas. I almost fell off the bench when I looked at the bill. This is not worth the price, I don't mind to pay that for something other than a fried piece of pork over roasted potatoes. Really cool place, but not worth the money, very expensive.
Huge let down. As someone who must, for health reasons, eat gluten-free, I was thrilled to find this restaurant as a dining option during our trip to Helen for Oktoberfest. We went during lunchtime today. My husband ordered dessert; I ordered chicken schnitzel. About 20 minutes after ordering, his dessert was brought to the table with a reassurance from the waitress that my food would be right out. After another 30 minutes, my husband had finished his dessert, while I still had no food. The people at the table beside us arrived after we did but had already received their appetizers and entrees for 4 and had finished their meal, yet here I sat with no food. After waiting an hour, even with the waitress telling us repeatedly that my food would be right out, we gave up. We explained to the cashier that my food never came, paid for his dessert and our drinks and left. If this is the standard level of service, I guess it's good this is a tourist town. There's no way to maintain repeat customers with this kind of service. Huge disappointment.

Visited while in Helen during Octoberfest and was not disappointed. Service was quick and food was delicious. I had the Weiner Schnitzel with roasted potatoes and my wife had the Jaeger Schnitzel pork loin with mushrooms and fries and we both enjoyed the fried cheese kabob appetizer.

Never have we been treated with such indifference. Morning of 10/20, was seated with some attitude outside. Had to ask for menus and coffee after 10 minutes. Then ordered. Many other parties were seated on the deck after us. All hot their food. We ordered and 45 minutes later still no food. The staff acted like we were bothering them asking for our food. Ten minutes more and I ask once again, oh she forgot to check! We left. Paid for the coffees and staff could care less. Could care less. Unbelievable- will never go there or recommend! Rudest staff ever!

Thought we would give this place a try. Yes, it was busy and I understand the kitchen was backed up. We were patiently waiting. Waited a good 30 minutes. Food came. I ordered the chicken schnitzel sandwich and the chicken was cold, rubbery and very raw in the middle. I get the kitchen was busy, but the food wasn't cooked. I sent it back and ended up sharing my husband's food. Told the staff to not bother remaking it. I didn't want to wait another 30 minutes.

We passed by this place and saw the sign stating “fried cheese” so we had to stop by
It took maybe 10 mins to sit down. Waitress was fairly quick with drinks but the food took FOREVER to come out.
We ordered fried cheese appetizer and then ordered the following food: chicken schnitzel sandwich with roasted potatoes “spiced up”, fried mozzarella cheese breakfast with eggs and roasted potatoes, bacon egg and cheese biscuit.
Fried cheese appetizer my son swore tasted like fish. Wonder if maybe just old oil idk
My son’s breakfast plate was supposed to have over medium eggs, they came out over hard. Fried cheese he said was ok.
My finances biscuit sandwich had no flavor, biscuit was good and moist with lots of butter.
My chicken schnitzel with roasted potatoes was alright. Spiced up for the extra $1 was literally putting some Tabasco sauce on it.
The food took very long to come though. We waited 45 mins to get the food. It wasn’t piping hot so not sure why it would take that long.
I had a latte and my son and fiancé had soda.
This cost $77 before tip. Overly priced considering

Went here for brunch on our 3rd day in Helen. My husband got the German sausage breakfast and I got the pork cordon blue. After having 3 other German meals at 3 different locations, this was our least memorable. His sausage was good, eggs cook fine, potatoes-meh, saurkraut- good, but just ok compared to others, cordon-blue-delicious, red cabbage ?no sweetness OR vinegar… just plain red cabbage cooked with LOTS OF caraway or fennel, potato salad- bland, but ok, and spaetzle noodle- plain/boiled -no butter or seasoning to speak of. Servers were ok- but very scattered and chaotic as soon as more people started arriving. Would not return with so many other good choices in town!

Went there to try their famous Fried Cheese breakfast. Very few tables to begin with on the inside. It was about 48 degrees. Got there around 9:30 a.m. on a Thursday and were fortunate to land one of those tables while people that came in right behind us had to wait quite a while. The waitress got the tables mixed up when bringing the check and that took a while to straighten out. Although the Fried cheese lived up to it's billing, we found it to be a very expensive breakfast. Wouldn't come back.

My family and I came here for lunch and it was amazing! Some of us have gluten and dairy allergies so finding a restaurant in Helen with options for us was difficult. They have the biggest and best selection of GF items in the area. They were very knowledgeable and have dedicated GF fryers and a GF kitchen area. We had chicken schnitzel, salad, bratwurst, roasted potatoes, Wiener schnitzel, potato salad, and gluten free fried cheese kabobs. Everything was delicious. We felt very safe and comfortable and will definitely be going back.
