Muller's Famous Fried Cheese Cafe

Cute shop. Kids got ice cream and we got some fried cheese. What more could you want? Maybe a beer, but they don’t serve any.

Roasted potatoes are very very salty. Hungarian beef stew are very dry. Watch their credit card surcharge fee on your bill. It is Helen special.

Due to being under the weather I Door Dashed this because I was craving chicken soup. So I can't speak to service or atmosphere but I can tell you that was the best chicken soup I've ever had. Kind of a strange thing for a German restaurant, but it was so good. Had tons of chicken in it and the flavor of the broth was exactly what I needed. Looking forward to trying more of their food.

This place definitely deserves more than the 4 this 4.0 rating but you can’t give a 4.5.

The food was excellent. It came out quick, was hot and good sized portions.

We liked the variety of options as well.

Our server was friendly and attentive as well.

This is definitely a place we would come back to and try more dishes at!

It seemed like the waitress might have been having a rough or busy night, but unfortunately her attitude came across as unwelcoming when we arrived. We decided not to stay or order because it didn’t feel like it would be a pleasant experience

Beautiful place with delicious food. We waited quite a while before we got our food, but it was worth it. I believe they made it fresh. We both had authentic German meals. Having lived in Germany for five years, I can tell you our food was as good as anything I had in Germany. Do yourself a favor and eat here.

We stopped here for a bite to eat while visiting Helen. They have a large menu. There is no alcohol served here. The food was okay. The service was good. We were seated right away and we were there on a Friday.

Cheese kabob was delicious. $20 maybe a little much. The duck was amazing! Chicken Greek salad was huge. We ate in the ice cream area. Sever was super attentive

We spent a long weekend in Helen, Ga and Muellers had the best food by far. We even went there twice. Their Schnitzel was so much better than Bodensee and kept me from being totally disappointed in German food! Service was excellent and had the same waitress (Haleigh) both times who was wonderful! Definitely the highlight of our trip.

This was a great place to have breakfast. Very nice patio, the waitress we had was a doll…. But the food was something to be desired. I ordered just a 2 egg/ bacon/ potato and toast breakfast. The potatoes are 4.00 extra ( and weren’t good imo) and when I ordered I had asked what kinds of bread they had for toast and one of the options was rye so I picked that. I was upcharged another 1.00 for that without being told. My bacon was so overcooked we laughed that 2 of the 4 peices were inedible / rock hard and resembled a chicken bone or a pork rind ( see picture). I like crispy bacon but this was LOL. My husbands pancakes weee just basic pancakes. They were ok.
Positive- a good large cup of coffee, waitress was really nice, nice patio.

The food was amazing and the servers were very sweet. Our drinks stayed full and the food was out very fast. We got breakfast and enjoyed the German Schnitzel breakfast, Muller's pancakes, and the Ham and Cheese Omelet. The fruit was fresh and sweet and the bacon was cooked great. The sweet tea was very good and the views and atmosphere were pleasant.
