A Pleasant Surprise: Muller's was a great place for everyone with a variety of food. I ordered the Pork Schnitzel Sandwich with a Mango Peach Mixed Italian soda. It was delicious. The sandwich was seasoned perfectly. The soda was creamy and sophisticated. Although Muller's served no alcoholic beverages, it had a better atmosphere without. Our waitress was extremely kind and friendly who served us with confidence and passion. We were seated on the back patio with no one else there so we had a perfect experience and atmosphere. You should go to Muller's for a dinner that will fill you up and taste good in Helen.

It was good. People were nice. We were there for breakfast as it was the only place open on a Tuesday morning. I did not have high hopes but I was pleasantly surprised. The potatoes and bacon were delicious. The eggs were perfectly cooked. The "toast" was more like warm bread and could have been toasted more. My husband doesn't like bacon so he had the bratwurst breakfast. It came with sauerkraut it was good, but not something I'd normally have with breakfast. But that's really a personal choice. I would recommend!

Got the two brats, toast, and mustard appetizer, the fried cheese kabob appetizer, homemade chicken noodle soup, and the fried cheese sandwich. The brats appetizer was our favorite! Cool to try three different fried cheeses.

We came in the beginning of March, and there was only one other small party eating inside. Scored one of the very few free restaurant parking spots right in front of the restaurant and the parking lot. It was a bit chilly inside and the old pop hit music was loud. They lowered the volume of the music a little bit after my mother-in-law asked. We ordered Czech entrees, the Schweinebraten and Roasted duck. Both of the entree meats had flavor but parts of the duck was a little dry. They both needed a sauce so we asked for a side of mushroom gravy ($3), which was good and made the dishes taste better. They both came with cooked shredded sweet red cabbage, sauerkraut, and homemade bread dumplings (more like slices of bread), which were all okay. The sauerkraut was not extremely tangy, more mild. Bread dumplings were soft-would have been better if they had a sauce/gravy to soak up. For dessert, ordered a warm apple strudel and chocolate fudge cake to go. They were both okay. The chocolate fudge cake tasted like it was from a cake box. Our waitress was kind and friendly. They have high chairs available. No changing table in the bathroom. Didn't realize until after there was a 4% processing fee that was automatically added. Not sure if that was because they assumed we were going to pay with credit card or not. So make sure to ask if that can be taken off if you're not paying with credit card.

Located in the heart of Helen, this restaurant did not disappoint with authentic German food. I had a Wienerschnitzel, and it was delicious along with fried potatoes.Staff was super friendly and attentive.There is covered outdoor seating as well.

Here for a long weekend!! This place is absolutely delicious!!! Everything fresh and made to order... and let me tell you I am a coffee snob and my Amaretto Latte was perfect!! Highly recommend!!

I really tried with this place. First time sat us and after 45 mins told us we had three in front of us before they even put our food on... Came back out of season walked in for just a coffee and ice cream. Surely they can't screw that up?. Nobody I mean nobody even showed up to take my order after 5 mins left. Turned around and saw others walked in and to make sure open sign was on. Followed others in. We all stood there puzzled for a moment. Finally a young lady shows up, gets asked a question, answers and the couple leaves because they didn't have what they wanted and the girl walks away. So there I am again. After waiting a moment I say hello out loud to get someone's attention and another employee sends her back. Get my ice cream or should I say straight ice with vanilla coffee flavoring tossed in. Just after I see another young lady pour a gallon of milk into the ice cream machine. Explains a lot. The problem with places like this is that they have it good because of the town and general traffic they get. Eventually they get overwhelmed and something has to give. I hate to give negative reviews hence 2 stars but if we are being honest it's been just plain bad on multiple fronts. Wish the first time we actually made it to the food part so maybe, just maybe I could have something positive to say. Looks like a pleasant place and my mood was great but they failed again and this time on likely two of the most simple aspects of their business, customer service and ice cream. Bummer. Ps because it's asking, ambiance seems fine.
