Nice and cozy, service was great even though we got there late. Wings are baked, but huge! Pizza was pretty good!

Order a veggie GF no mushrooms pizza. They forgot to put the eggplant on it and came out over cooked. Ordered a salad, was told they didn’t have cucumbers, no problem but 12.00 For a bowl of lettuce with a sprinkle of tomatoes and carrots was way over priced. Got the check, $45.00 for the pizza. Brought it to our waitress attention. She fixed it. Double check your check.

We have only been to this restaurant once, but our experience was quite bad. We came in around 4:45pm for dinner to try to beat the rush. Three other tables were occupied, so it seemed like we succeeded in that goal. We had some questions regarding gluten-free options so it took us a few minutes to order. We ordered 3 gluten free pizzas. It took over an hour -- about an hour and ten minutes -- for the pizzas to be delivered to our table.

The waitress started giving us updates that it will be out soon about 45 minutes after we ordered. During this time, the restaurant filled up and most other tables had food before us. Once we finally did get our food, the pizza was ... OK. Our kid liked the cheese pizza, and my wife liked the spicy piglet. My mona lisa was quite disappointing, though. It was almost flavorless and I didn't see any bacon on it at all. It was also burnt and parts of it were inedible. I didn't try to send it back after the massive wait for the first try.

We were given a discount on the pizza, but that was not nearly enough to make up for the wait and a burnt pizza. To top it off, they couldn't get the credit card reader to work which added even more time to the visit.

The only shining thing about the visit was that the gluten free pizza really was gluten free, we didn't have any allergy issues with the pizza. The extremely long wait, though, means we will probably never try to eat here again.

I absolutely love this place and that's why I was so excited to see that Uber Eats has begun delivering. BUT I HAVE WAITED TWO HOURS FOR A PIZZA DELIVERY THAT STILL ISNT HERE. The restaurant is not to blame. UberEats can't figure it out, but they will take your money. Do not order from UberEats.

Nacoochee tavern is always a great experience. Their food is so good and lots of unique choices. Vegetarian choices are delicious. ALWAYS get the cheesy garlic bread too!!

This used to be the best pizza and hoagies around. Now, the pizza is somehow burnt and cold at the same time, paper thin (not just thin, we can literally see through parts of the cooked pizza!), and you wait for an excessive amount of time. Four out of the last five times we’ve ordered hot hoagies, they haven’t baked them.

Best pizza within logical driving distance of the area. Indoor and outdoor seating, and the staff is very polite and fast. One of the top three places to eat in Helen, period

Been here twice. Good food/pizza...but service is (altho friendly & polite) relatively slow. Wasnt lookn for "fast food". Just a good lunch. Chose an outside table & the wait began from getting a menu to taking our drink order, to taking our food order, to kindly bringing drink refills, then telling us our food will be out soon...we waited...
Then we walked out... have never done that before.... felt bad about that & we were still hungry....🫤
