DELISH. Had the pretzel (with beer cheese) flown in from Munich -- amazing! Onion soup was surprisingly delicious as well as the Reuben and homemade potato salad (not pictured). EXCELLENT food and great service. Will come again next time we visit!!
Visited earlier today on a day trip to Helen, GA. The menu is posted outside exactly like true Germany! A German restaurant in the US that has Sauerbraten?? You know it’s legit, and that it is. The decor, low ceilings, and seating bring you right back to a Gästhaus in the Alps. The upstairs lounge is probably the closest thing to a German city center pub that hosts its annual “Kerve”. Any rating below 5 comes from someone that has no clue what Germany is and what Germany...
Unsure why this only has hotel options here, but this place serves delicious German food!! It's cozy and very rustic German styled interior. Our group nearly had one of everything and it was all delicious. The Bavarian pretzel was top notch. Get the optional beer cheese too
