No parking had to use pay parking (10.00) and walk to restaurant was disappointed with food had knockwurst sausage that was full of sodium tasted like cheep stuff from grocery store had same meal 2 year’s ago here ago that was great this time meal was about 3/4 the size of previous time will not go back

This restaurant is hard to find at night. Many of the restaurants in Helen do not have the restaurant names well illuminated (especially when the town is hemorrhaging Christmas lights), but we found it tucked among other restaurants and shops in Helen on the Main Street. We found free parking down in back and didn't have to pay the 10$ parking fees at public lots.\n\nI grew up with home made German food and this restaurant was one of the best I've found around the South...

You can look at my other reviews and see that I have visited quite a few German and Austrian restaurants throughout the world. While this was not the best one I have eaten at, it was still very good. It was definitely the best we had in Helen. The wursts were very good. The most pleasant surprise was the the french fries were outstanding. Fries in Germany are typically better than in the U.S., but these fries would stand up well against any restaurant, anywhere. The service was...
