Spice 55 Thai and Sushi restaurant

Great Thai food in a German town. Enjoyed the duck dinner and calamari based on Amanda's suggestions. Great watermelon margarita and service!

We enjoyed our dinner a few weeks ago. Our waiter was attentive and the food was delicious! Overall experience was great!

We had an amazing dinner this past Saturday. The crab meat and Lobster rice was amazing and the pyramid sushi was delish!

My family of 10 adults and 2 toddlers showed up on a Friday at 4:30 and even though this restaurant does not take reservations they easily accommodated my family and we were able to all sit together. The service was incredible. My son is 15 months old and started screaming and being crazy in his high chair, our server brought over some white rice and soy sauce for him before taking our order so he had something to eat and calm down. This already set the tone for an amazing dinner with great food. The service was top tier and all the food was delicious. I’m not sure if this is how it is for all size parties but they seemed to bring the food out as it was ready not just all at once. Which with 12 people we appreciated having our food as it came out so it was fresh. Highly recommend this place!

This is BY FAR the best restaurant in Helen. I've been to Spice 55 several times since I've lived in the area and have never been disappointed. I've eaten sushi all across the east coast and no place has impressed me quite like Spice 55. They offers a variety of rolls - all fantastic. Their portion size is more than adequate, they offer a great variety of rolls - all delicious and fairly priced especially considering the quality of the food. You can't find better sushi in the north Georgia area!

Whether you dine in or order take out, you will enjoy their food. I have ordered during busy hours before and they have always delivered their food in a timely manner. You will not regret ordering from this fine establishment.

The proteins in all of our dishes were bland. Everything else had a really good flavor, but it was a bit overpriced.

If you're looking to escape the tourist crowds in Helen, Georgia, and crave some delicious Thai food, Spice 55 is a must-visit. Our group arrived around 2:30 PM and was promptly greeted and seated. The restaurant had a few tables filled indoors, but the outdoor patio was empty.
Spice 55 offers a diverse menu, including sushi and Thai cuisine. Our group opted for Thai dishes, starting with a flavorful calamari appetizer ($10). I enjoyed the basil fried rice with shrimp ($20), a perfect blend of spices and fresh ingredients. To complement the meal, I ordered a refreshing Thai tea ($4).
Every dish was absolutely delicious, and I cleaned my plate. The generous portions and high-quality ingredients left me feeling satisfied. Our server, Zoe, provided exceptional service. She was friendly, attentive, and even wrote a thoughtful message on a notecard with our receipt.
If you're in the area, I highly recommend Spice 55 for a memorable dining experience.

We visited on a Sunday night. We were seated almost immediately. The bartender was our server and she was fantastic. I tried the Lobster and Lump Crab Fried Rice and my husband had a Godzilla roll. Both were absolutely amazing. Don't pass up a chance to eat here.

I had the lamb and my husband had Bang Bang Shrimp. We also had a oyster appetizer which was amazing not to mention my Sushi Roll.
