!! BEWARE !! - the blonde woman behind the bar decided to give herself an additional tip on my debit card. My group sat down and had 1 round of drinks at the bar while waiting for a store to open. My purchase for 1 drink was $9.10. I left a $2 tip. The bar tender took it upon herself to charge me an additional $7 in a separate transaction. They also scammed the other members of my group with fraudulent charges. Don’t even waste your time going to this place. Who knows how many people they have scammed.

Response - I am not driving 8 hours back to your establishment for $7. I’m sorry but clearly you do not understand that I am telling you that you have employed criminals. Obviously it doesn’t benefit your business to charge fraudulent charges but it sure does benefit the individual giving themselves extra tips.

My family and I ate at this wonderful restaurant for Christmas and we enjoyed their delicious food and great service. Our server, Reid, and the hostess, Jessie, were excellent and welcoming. We will definitely go again when in Helen, GA. Thanks for a great experience.

Delicious food, great service. This place is right across from the visitor center. There is plenty of parking. We were seated quickly. The place was nice. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. We ordered green curry, ginger stir fry and mixed vegetables. All dishes came with steamed rice. You can order according to your source levels. The dishes had a lot of vegetables and we ordered with tofu. It was very filling. Prices were reasonable. Loved it.

Had a fantastic experience at Spice 55. Jessie was super attentive and joyful, and the rest of the team were equally pleasant and welcoming. I actually said it out loud: “the food transported me to Thailand!”

I had the Fresh Basil Rolls and Chicken Green Curry (hot) — both absolutely fabulous. My wife loved the Crusty Crab 55 Roll, Crab Wonton, and Tuna Tataki.

A special shoutout to Brew 55 (beer)! Not just local, but brewed specially for the restaurant — it’s fermented with jasmine rice — refreshing and easy on the palette. Goes well with the meal.

We have recently visited Helen GA. Had dinner twice at 55 Spice.....all I can say is the food atmosphere and service are absolutely a 10. Our first visit our server was Eddy he was amazing, before we even needed or wanted something he was on it! Our second visit was as amazing. Our server was Sam. She was as accommodating as Eddy!! We travel alot and to find food and service as great as this, is hard to find! I can't express what a great experience we had while we were in Helen! What a gem to say the least! Can't wait to travel back through to enjoy the amazing service and food.

I can't even begin to express how amazing this restaurant is. The portions are great, the food always tastes amazing, and the sushi is always beautiful and flavorful. Their coconut cake is moist and decadent and their coffee jelly is a perfect balance of bitter coffee and sweet cream. I have never been disappointed when eating here. Staff has always been friendly and even recognizes us when we visit, which is remarkable for a restaurant in a busy tourist town.

Ok, yes when you think of Helen…. I know the first thing is not Thai food. But hear me out! This place is amazing!!! And I’m not just saying that because I love Thai food… When you walk in, it’s just absolutely beautiful . The service I had was phenomenal! Jessie…. She Has the best personality you’ll ever meet, And gave phenomenal service!!! 10 out of 10 you have to ask for her when you go and eat there!
