I ordered the brisket plate with macaroni and cheese and coleslaw.The brisket was cooked just right as it was moist and tender the Mac and cheese was great and the coleslaw wasn’t very good but the portion size of brisket more than made up for it. I will be back.This restaurant is apparently closed now for good.

Tried to go here after good reviews. On July 1st they decided to close at 3pm vs the posted 7 pm. Around 20 people were walking to the door trying to have lunch. Bad look in a tourist area that only get one shot to try you out!

Me and my husband are here right before the bike rally and we amazed! I got the turkey plate and he got the brisket plate. The most amazing food ever! I love Brunswick stew and it was out of this world! We live in Blue Ridge Ga and we drive the extra hour and a half just to come back. We also bought me and him 4 shirts and our daughter one and we get the best comments about them all the time! ❤️

We came to Helen to .eet some old friends we hadn't seen in years. We planned to meet at 11:00 on Sunday. When We got there, there was NO ONE there. No kitchen. Staff, No wait staff. Building was completely dark.We were so disappointed.

Never open when they say they're open. Even if the signs are outside. Sometimes the lobby is filled with bodies but they're closed? Makes no sense. The smoked turkey is honestly trash.

Quick service, but the food was average. I ordered the brisket plate with two sides and got 3 slices of brisket. I believe the brisket was at least a day old. A smoked chicken plate had so much pepper seasoning that my wife and granddaughter couldn't eat it. Sides of Brunswick Stew and Collards were also very spicy and impossible to finish.The restaurant was clean, and the service was quick, our only positive.

The lady a counter when we preordered the 70 dollars plus pulled pork and Brunswick stew. Was nice and helpful wrote down order and asked about sauces and wrote those down as well. Stating we could pick up on July 4 at 1100 their normal opening hours.On the 4th I was call and told the guy was there two I could pick up my order. When I got the the restaurant was closed no one answered the knock at the doors. I by accident I saw a guy come out back of restaurant as I was leaving. He was not very personable. And stated that I must be who he had to come in for. Then went and got food and stew. He could not hand it to me and close the door in my face fast enoughThe pull pork was in an uncovered container stacked on top of a second uncovered container. Pork was so dry like it was left uncovered or multi days old or both. The stew was the worst. It was like someone threw a bunch of frozen vegetables in a pot and turned on the heat for ten minutes.Never again.

If you like flavorless pulled pork, this is the place for you! The pulled pork plate comes with two sides. Portion size is acceptable for the price.The meat has absolutely no flavor so be sure to grab your favorite bbq sauce. The baked beans have a ton of sugar. The Brunswick stew was pretty good. If I were to recommend anything, it would be the Brunswick stew. If I returned here, which is unlikely, I'd get a large order of Brunswick stew and call it a day.

Besides the owner being absolutely RUDE & like he didn’t want to be bothered with us when picking up a pre ordered $75 meal. The food was not worth the money at all! Also no sauces at all were given or asked if we needed. A BBQ restaurant closed on the 4th in a small town was crazy too! So we had no choice but to go to the dollar general and get sauce. Absolutely insane! We won’t be going back which is a shame! Going to get BBQ there has been apart of our tradition for over 20 years!
