Little coffee shop in downtown Helen. Fun flavors! Try the sleepy bear!

I’ve never had an espresso on its own with any add-ons aside from milk and sweetener, so the concept of a double shot with whipped cream sounded like a treat! It was really a great pairing of richness from the cream that balanced out the acidity of the rather-delicious coffee. Really enjoyed this place!

We strolled to the coffee shop on a Monday morning. No wait. Coffee was so good!! I got the Cowboy iced coffee and my hubby got the Vanilla frappe. Both were delicious. The girl working was super nice and friendly. We will definitely be going back.

The lady who was working today at 4pm with blonde hair is a saint. My grandma and I stopped in and my grandma is handicapped and rides a scooter, well as soon as we left m grandma decided to speed around the corner with her scooter like a nascar driver and unfortunately fell off the scooter. (She’s fine) After we got her back up my grandma asked for another coffee so I went inside to get another and the barista immediately asked if my grandma was okay and made her another coffee. Top tier service and great coffee!

Opens at 8:30. Google says 7am. Very frustrating to drive somewhere and find they’re closed, a coffee shop of all places still closed at 8am!

Main problems that I had with this place were the staffing and the space. Regarding the staffing, every time we’ve gone, there have been only one or two people working. If things aren’t too busy, that’s fine. However, with a crowd of people, that can REALLY slow things down, particularly if only one person is working.
Regarding the space, the indoor area is tiny; there’s only room for a few small tables. This also isn’t really a problem if things aren’t busy. However, the small space during busy times leads to the most annoying problem with this place: not only is there a standing-room-only crush of people, but the two entrances in two different parts of the store means that there is utter confusion on where the line begins. Last time we went, we walked in, then walked out.
Regarding their product, my wife was fine with their regular brewed coffee, and while I was disappointed that they didn’t have English breakfast tea, I was fine with the Chai they had.
Honestly, just one more barista and having one door clearly marked “entrance” and one clearly marked “exit” would solve most of the problems.

The location is right in the main town area, which is super convenient. I ordered the Iced Cowboy, and it tasted really good! That said, the price felt a bit high—it was $8.55 for the coffee. if you pay with cash, you can avoid the credit card fee.

Ordered Americano coffee, they make it with one shot of espresso and 16 oz of steaming water. Basically water down burnt coffee.
Americano is made with limited amount of hot 90•C (200F) , not 100•C water, it burns the coffee.
Water should be limited to 200-250 grams (6-8 oz), otherwise you water it down.
We had to ask for ice to cool it down, but definitely not a great coffee shop.

Kaitlyn (hope I spelled it right) took very good care of us and clearly made my coffee with love. They were very busy for one person to be in there working, but she handled it accordingly and with a smile on her face while keeping the customers engaged. Will definitely be back!
