“The Tavern is a favorite local pub where the atmosphere reflects the personalities of the owners; friendly, warm, and kind. You are always greeted warmly and it's a comfortable, cozy place to meet people and enjoy conversation. There is often live music and they encourage anyone to share their musical abilities in a low-key setting. It is not a restaurant, but they'll make you a pizza if you ask. This is a private club with an annual membership fee (currently $50). If you are not a member, you can still participate by paying a guest fee (currently $5 per visit). I'm not much of a drinker and have never really frequented bars, but I'm very comfortable at the Tavern and enjoy socializing with the new friends I've made. Fran and McRay (the owners) are wonderful folks!“
“Great food and service. Even though we had around twenty guests the staff made every effort to get our orders out without a glitch. There was a couple of goofs but they quickly corrected the issues. They did not rush us and we enjoyed the atmosphere.Parking: I can see where they need an expansion to their parking lot. It also needs to be better lit.“
“Great upscale rustic ambiance, they have several restaurants, including The Sequoia dining room, a Grill near the Pro Shop, a couple of patios and a bar with music in the evenings. The Golf Course is a very good challenge, too. Their lamb is very good, as well as roasted veggies. The grill has good burgers, Rachel sandwiches (Reubens only with Turkey) and sweet potato fries.“
“Went to Brassies for a working lunch. Server was very attentive and polite. All members of our working group agreed that their food was very good. This is Brassies at Brasstown Valley Resort in the lodge over looking the mountains atmosphere is awesome.“
“Nice visual setup and great theme. We went for lunch on a weekday. It seemed like a local bar scene during the day. No one else was seated at tables, all other guests were seated around the bar. We sat at a table right next to the bar. We weren't greeted when we came in, and nothing indicated we needed to order at the bar. It was about 10 minutes before the bartender acknowledged us at all, letting us know we had to go grab our menus and go back up to the bar to order. Not the greatest vibes. We enjoyed our food and beer.“
