Waffle House in Hinesville

“I got a waffle sandwich plate, old school. This location had great quick customer service. The cook was training someone and I loved listening to them. You can tell he knew what he was doing and took pride in his career. Definitely recommend!“

“My expectations of any of Waffle House I go to are very low. This location just raised the bar for what to expect.

The restaurant is clearly very clean, the floors have definitely been mopped frequently and the tables are evidently wiped often. As someone who worked in food service, I can tell when equipment is cleaned often, and I can see from where I’m sitting now that the grill is scrubbed frequently, as well as the rest of the equipment.

My silverware received more than a few touches with a sponge. It was CLEANED. The staff had mentioned to me that they had meant to wipe everything down a few minutes earlier and were just now getting to it, and that speaks wonders on its own. Their standards for cleanliness are so high that a 9/10 job is dirty to them.

The staff is incredibly friendly. They all are well groomed and generally clean looking, something most of us are not used to when going to a Waffle House.

AND to top it all off, the food itself is fantastic. They took their time to make it, but not too long. They didn’t rush it, and made sure that this came out GOOD. Attached is a photo of my plate right as they gave me my food.

Whatever these people are getting paid, it isn’t enough. I arrived at around 2:15 on November 9, 2024, and EVERY staff member deserves recognition for the effort they are putting into their work. This has been a VERY pleasant surprise for me, and I will be coming here again.“
