Briar Patch food has changed. Purchased a Hickory Salad last week and the lettuce was so wet by the time I got it home I had a watery mess. Yesterday I purchase the Pork Chop Dinner with baked potato and a salad. The dinner would have been delicious but the lettuce was so brown I had to throw most of it away. Where is the high quality food we used to get? I know food prices are high but if I can't eat it, it's not good at any price.

Potato salad tasted like egg salad and the mac n cheese tasted like the pasta was boiled in tea. Low quality cafeteria food at best. Service was decent

Food was very good and came out quickly. I was told by locals that this restaurant has been here for decades. I had the pulled pork, beans and slaw, all of which was very good.We would return if we're ever in this area again.

Food was ok. No menus or descriptions of the food and when you ask, the cashier is not very helpful. So best to look at the online menu before going. Didn't ask which meat I wanted, since my salad order offered a choice of beef or pork and the order board didn't show descriptions. They just gave me pork, which was shredded very, very fine to the consistency of canned tuna and was dry. Used an entire container of ranch and bbq sauce. My husband's burger was ok. Cole slaw was good, fries were small, but ok. Our first time there, we might try again, but we were a little disappointed. Restaurant was clean.

My family and I have not been here in a year so we thought we would give it another try tonight, big mistake! Got to the register and the person behind the register didn’t greet us at all, just stood there with a blank stare, no hello, what can I get for you, nothing. Most of the tables are filthy, no baked potatoes. It’s just sad ?. We should’ve just went to Taco Bell. We will not be returning.

We ordered the pork chop dinner special with baked potatoes and one salad and one cole slaw. We absolutely love their cole slaw and their homemade thousand island salad dressing. The meal would have been delicious except for the brown lettuce in the salad. This was the first time I have ever gotten bad lettuce at the Briar Patch. We have their hickory salads often and they are great. It is a good idea to check your bag before leaving the drive-thru from any restaurant now days. I appreciate the weekly specials the Briar Patch offers, it really helps senior citizens cut down on costs.

It was okay bbq but I've never been served pulled pork and NO BBQ SAUCE never! They should of at least had some out on the table if we wanted to use it.

What a poor experience. How dare you serve me chicken that is days old, not fresh and charge me $9.00. How disgusting. I took one bite and that is all it took. What a waste and a rip off of my hard earned money. You know you were serving days old chicken. Shame on you.

Homemade banana pudding. You'll thank me later. The prices are a little higher than the other BBQ restaurants in the area, but the quality has always been really good and most of their food comes from homemade recipes that are very good. The menu is the standard BBQ menu, ribs, pulled pork, chicken, fries, etc., I definitely recommend giving them a try. Locally owed.

Three of us went for lunch. We purchased hickory salad, baked potato topped with pork, 1/3 rack of ribs with potato salad and beans. Bottled water was complimentary. Service was friendly and helpful. Everything looked clean . Now the food. The meat that topped the salad was mostly dry and hard . The ranch dressing was good and lettuce was fresh. Baked potato with pork was very large and filling . Ribs, potato salad and beans were good. The toppings bar which has sliced dill pickles, banana peppers, chopped white onion and sliced purple onion along with some chopped lettuce, sliced tomatoes. There was something resembling bacon bits but not sure what it was. It looked too dry and dusty looking. There could have been more but that's what I remember. One negative to that was the purple onion was not fresh and I wished that I had asked what the item that resembled bacon bits was.All in all, food was just ok. Nothing that made us say that we wanted to come back. The staff was really friendly and helpful.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu.

Great food. I wish they had barbecue chicken quarters instead of just shredded barbecue chicken we opted for the ribs and baked beans and Fries which were very good. It's the best barbecue I've had since loving you in Georgia.
