Food was very good and came out quickly. I was told by locals that this restaurant has been here for decades. I had the pulled pork, beans and slaw, all of which was very good.We would return if we're ever in this area again.
Food was ok. No menus or descriptions of the food and when you ask, the cashier is not very helpful. So best to look at the online menu before going. Didn't ask which meat I wanted, since my salad order offered a choice of beef or pork and the order board didn't show descriptions. They just gave me pork, which was shredded very, very fine to the consistency of canned tuna and was dry. Used an entire container of ranch and bbq sauce. My husband's burger was ok. Briar Patch food has changed. Purchased a Hickory Salad last week and the lettuce was so wet by the time I got it home I had a watery mess. Yesterday I purchase the Pork Chop Dinner with baked potato and a salad. The dinner would have been delicious but the lettuce was so brown I had to throw most of it away. Where is the high quality food we used to get? I know food prices are high but if I can't eat it, it's not good at any price.
