If the customer has to do everything but cook the food then why is there literally 9 employees standing around on their phones. Then they ask for a tip that was hilarious. Not to mention you have to get back up and go pick up your food. So I ask why is there so many people working of all they are doing is playing on their phones.
Ok, so it usually takes A LOT to impress me with fries and hamburger but oh my goodness, this place nailed it to a whole new level. The fries were amazing and the burgers were delicious. I normally get heart burn after eating a hamburger but Steak and Shake uses Tallow to cook their food in and I would HAPPILY go back in a heartbeat. GREAT JOB. I was also able to buy a jar of beef tallow from them. And they cater.
Hamburger was good. They were lacking enough help to service customers properly. I don't care for the new kiosk system. Fries no longer automatically come with the burger, but the cook did the best she could.
