Place is cool but the vibe is soo quiet. You walk in and nobody even speaks to you. 8 people behind the counter and only Jessica was the saving grace. Nice smile, good attitude, upbeat. Speak to your customers when they walk in! We are the reason you are in business!
Ah Waffle House, a southern answer to Hibachi. Where else can you catch pneumonia because it's so cold while burning your mouth on hot food? Listen, the food is good (even better after midnight), the service is usually spot on and if you're lucky somebody will play "Another one bites the dust" on the jukebox. Which seems a little ominous while your eating at a place known for grease.
I just ate here a couple hours ago and it was my best experience at a Waffle House. Our server was a little busy but once she put our order in the cook ( I believe I heard him called out to as "Tip") wasted no time to get our food out and it was made to perfection. 10 out of 10 recommend. Definitely were helpful in recommendations and the cook definitely knows what he is doing. I will be taking the 30 min drive to have this experience again.
