Las Palmas Holly Springs

Our first visit, a cockroach crawled out of the chip basket. Decided to try a second time today, a year later. Service was incredibly slow, despite the restaurant being nearly empty. My daughters food came out nearly 20 minutes after everyone else's food came. Very convenient location, too bad this seems more like a watering hole for drunks than an actual restaurant

The chips were overcooked and tasteless and the salsa was so watery and bland that I’m pretty sure any random supermarket brand would have been better. My chile relleno was the weirdest, soggiest, eggiest mess I’ve ever seen described as a chile relleno. The eggy mess wasn’t stuffed, but sat on top of a pile of bland ground beef. My taco was also bland and tasteless. My brother said his steak fajita was good. The waitress, Jenifer, was very attentive and nice. The decor was a little dark and depressing, but no biggie…. the food is what will prevent me from going back.

I just moved to this area with my boyfriend, we stopped and dined in here a couple time last week and I fell in love with the food. Today I decided to order food on my break. I called ahead to make sure it was ready before hand so I can just grab and go. I got there only to learn that the order hadn’t been put in. I was asked to wait another 15 to 20 mins. While understand mistakes happen, I have to be selective about my time and in the future I won’t be returning.

I went for a visit with a large group of friends. Unfortunately, I arrived after my group had already placed their orders. Another friend and I placed our orders at the very last minute, but it turned out that my food was never brought to me. Everyone else finished eating. I waited a while longer, and when I asked about my order, they couldn't find it. They simply asked if I wanted to wait or cancel.
