My family loves bbq, and we’re easy to please; BUT when I brought home pulled pork and brisket with Georgia sauce from Boss Dawg, fam was raving and raving. I agree! We have a Most Favorite BBQ place now: Boss Dawg!
As a previous owner of a BBQ joint 15 years ago, this is my recommendation for best BBQ in the area. Owners are incredibly personable and sweet. The ribs, pork, and sides were fantastic and they let us sample the brisket that wasn't on the menu that day. Unbelievable. Best ive had outside of Texas and honestly just as good. We are sad that it took us 2 years to finally visit. We've been only once but are calling ourselves regulars now as we can't imagine not making...
The food is terrific. That's all people really want to know. There's a lady there, that's been with the place for probably 30 years. Some of the recipes are hers. This adds to the down home appeal. Their sauces are delicious as well. Please try their wings. They have the perfect crispy crunch you want from a wing.
