Unfortunately, I'm at a bit of a crossroads w/ Fresh Air BBQ in Jackson, GA . . . 😞 Today the customer service was good, but there's always a 50/50 chance it won't be. The atmosphere stands the test of time & keeps it's old world charm, and they HAVE extended their chip & snack options. Honestly it's not much of a redemption, if I wanted snacks there's plenty of other options - gas stations, grocery stores, markets, etc. Their selection is limited: sweet coleslaw, thin BBQ sauce w/ a vinegar bite, thin but tasty Brunswick Stew & BBQ being the extent. The reason I won't be returning? The lack of attention to their mainstay, the BBQ. It's gotten to where every time I order from them I have to spit out several mouthfuls of fat & cartilage, which pretty much ruins my experience. After spending $10 - $20 on 2 sandwiches, the last thing I want is to spit it out!👇 ⭐⭐❌❌❌ 🍖🧱🍞🍲🥒🤢😖 3 ⭐'s is middle of the road, with iffy customer service & a lack of effort in cleaning their main product (it's a BBQ joint after all) 2 ⭐'s is exactly where they land for me. After reviewing my review I would've gone w/ 2&1/2 ⭐'s if it was an option, a little more effort & it would have gone up quite a bit)!

Our regular go to for the best BBQ. Brunswick stew and slaw in the state.
Certainly not the best I've ever had. The food portions are very small. The pull pork is bland, the stew is thin and the coleslaw is chopped too fine. The dining area is also very small. The food was just ok but definitely not good. Not sure how they were voted the best in Georgia unless people just haven't ventured out and tried different places.

Service is a little slow, but worth the wait. Their menu is limited. They only have pulled pork, cole slaw and brunswick stew. Some pies for dessert. The pulled pork was tender and juicy, the slaw is slightly sweet, sweet tea is good-no after taste, brunswick stew was yummy. The pulled pork was the best I have ever had. The brunswick stew was good, but I have had better. The slaw was delicious.
