The BBQ sauce was not very good! To runny and way to much vinegar! The coleslaw and stew was very good. The girl that waited on us was nice but didn't tell us she was charging me for a water as if we're a soda. And extra for buns. I should have been told It was an extra charge.When you're adding to the bill I like to be informed before hand and not be surprised when I look at the receipt. My husband served for 27 years so the military discount should be for all that served! Have a blessed day!

Have always enjoyed their bbq until today. The bbq sauce had way too much vinegar and most our group could not even eat more than a few bites. The Brunswick stew was as good as it always is but the sauce was absolutely terrible. I have eaten here many times over the years and I have never had the sauce with this much vinegar. I spent $130 on two party packs and drinks and most of it went into the trash. I can no longer recommend eating here unfortunately. I absolutely hate writing a 1 star review but they really let us down. The good side is that they are very friendly.

Good atmosphere. Bbq has no flavor. Sauce taste like straight vinegar. Brunswick stew is okay. Cole slaw is good. Very limited menu

The staff was friendly and efficient. The pork itself was not bad but the sauce was vinegar based and too strong, overwhelming the pork. Same with the pickle, eye watering strong. Will try again sometime to see if the sauce issue corrects itself.

This review is only about the food. We were so disappointed with this BBQ. First off was stone cold, I liked it was chopped fine, but taste was bad. The sauce was very watery with almost all vinegar taste. Now let's get to the stew, no taste so bland. Just looking as a cook, could only see small bits of corn with pulsed I guess bbq. Husband said slaw was OK but not great. So back to our Southern Pit in Griffin been eating there years and food is always great. It's like a real restaurant, they come to your table to take your order with lots to choose from menu. Unlike this Fresh Air where you stand in line and place order like fast food restaurants. We will probably not be going back. Just my taste, just being truthful with my experience here.

Very impressed with the level of service. The young lady that rang me up was very kind and patient to a first time customer. The order was prepared within 5min. Very fast. The pulled pork had good flavor but quite dry. The sauce was ok not the best there is. The rest of what they have is fantastic. Slaw is the best I can remember ever having and the Brunswick stew matches that excellence. You could be satisfied with just a bowl of the stew alone. Overall a great spot no wonder they’ve been here for close to 100 years.
