Food looked like it had been out a while. We went close to closing. Not bad for the expensive prices. Food ok. Nothing spectacular. Nice folks working here. The customer service made it ok with me.
Sweet, sweet family run restaurant. Always gracious and guest-centric. Food is fantastic. We've been going here for more years than I can count. I can't say enough nice things about this business!

This place is unique. We ate lunch on a Saturday, but we had to wait until they switched from breakfast to lunch. It was worth the wait. The food was hot & tasty. I got the tilapia with fries & hushpuppies. The food was delicious. The service was outstanding. I recommend this place. They have different types of food. Catfish, hamburger steaks, lots of different vegetables, BBQ pork sandwiches. It's like a cafeteria style place. You walk down the serving line, telling them what you want. And pay at the end of the line. I definitely will go back to Hunter's.
It's a great little place for meat and veggies. The taste of the food is excellent. The temperature of the food is warm, not hot. I had to ask if food could be warmed up. Instead of a fresh hot plate of food, they placed it in the microwave.

I called and ask if they still had delivery (at one time they did) I told the person I spoke with that I was sick (covid) and did not want to go inside. Was told that they would bring it out to me if I called them when I arrived. The phone went to massage. I asked someone to let them know I was in the parking lot. I have always loved Hunters Mama Hunter (Miss Helen)was the best. Ms Mary also did a great job. I was so disappointed in my food yesterday, the dressing was dry and one step from being burned and the Mac and cheese looked like it was cooked the day before. I was told people were lined up outside not when I got there. Less than 10 cars outside. )

The quality had went down for a while, but we decided to give it another try today after church so glad we did. The food was great, and the sweetest people behind the serving line, great portions. You will not go away hungry.
