Lucky's Italian Restaurant

Sorry no stars. Tried to find this house but the driveway is so narrow you miss it over and over. So we ended up at Jimmy's. Try and make it easier to find where you're parking is, oh and the back entrance was blocked.

Toasted/ baked bread would have been more enjoyable than cold sliced. Lasagna was overloaded with the pasta sauce,overpowering..and the place is large enough to be seated with friends away from couples who may be wanting time alone,spread us out some ok ? Parking is out back,pretty good walk...don't advise going if rain is expected. Oh by the way ,salad that comes with the meal is served in a super small dessert dish,just sayin...I wasn't really impressed, just my overall opinion

They have great food and drinks. Love eating here with friends. Just wish they didn’t run out of cannolis. They never have any when we are there. The filet mignon is great.

Parking: Parking lot is small. There is sine over flow in the next business.

We chose Lucky's for a special dinner. First, although Lucky's has a Mulberry St address it can only be accessed via College Dr. Inside the decor is different but interesting. There were only two waitresses but they did their best, especially considering there was a large (8-10) party that needed a lot of attention. The stuffed mushrooms had a decent seafood stuffing, 4/5. The lobster ravioli was just OK. The sauce had a flavor we didn't care for, 3/5. The stuffed shells in marinara sauce were very good. The cheeses were an excellent blend of ricotta, mozerella, and romano and was well seasoned, 4.2/5. The portion sizes were perfect. Overall we spent $61.30, including tax and two glasses of wine.

Parking: Parking is behind the restaurant amd at the attorney's office next door.

I had the chicken and spinach ravioli and it was great! The service was spot on and the atmosphere is always nice. Definitely the best restaurant in Jackson and well worth the short drive from the lake!

Doesn't do to go orders. Pretty much useless

If you have children, don’t go here. Even really behaved ones, they’re just not welcome. It’s simply a bar for drunk old folks. ?‍♀️

A hidden parking lot. Very busy decor, slow as molasses service despite not being noticeably busy, nooooo remodeling after turning an old home into a restaurant , which means several (no idea how many) very segregated dining rooms where 2 or 3 tables are squashed in together. The food was just okay. Not a hidden

Food was basically frozen dinners. My husband ordered chicken Alfredo. The cheese was good but the chicken was 100% microwaveable frozen chicken. I ordered the chicken masala. It was very soupy, and again frozen microwaved chicken. And they charged $18 a plate. The complimentary salad and bread were the best thing they offered there. And don’t get me started on all the racist pictures placed all around ??We thought we would try something new in Jackson for the first time, and definitely regret coming. So won’t be coming back.
