The food was great, I ordered the chicken salad sandwich which was a bit too sweet for my liking, but still tasty. My mother ordered the cheeseburger which was very good. Finally my father ordered the patty melt, which he said was great. When you order a meal you have the choice of fries, fried okra, or onion rings which are a small upcharge. The okra was amazing. The food was ready quickly after we ordered, and the prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place!

We came down here for a high school MTB race and chose this spot for breakfast and I'm happy we did. Service was great, food was great, the atmosphere was relaxed.
Nice, home town diner. I was hoping for breakfast but arrived when they switched to lunch. When they found they were out of my lunch choice, they nicely offered for me to switch back to the earlier breakfast menu. Really nice people here, and I think our server (fun person, a real hoot) mentioned she had been employed here over 30 years. During our road trips, we love home town diners like these.
