This winery provided a beautiful out of this world experience this past weekend. It is such a hidden gem, it should be a secret! They were absolutely wonderful hosts. The only other thing I would say is we loved the âwatch out for bearsâ signs on the way there. And yes, the wonderful band playing clarified the line in the âCountry Roadsâ for once. It ainât referring to actual moon shining on West Virginia where I spent one year right out of college.

We were super pleased with the wine at Cairn View! We are not sweet wine people, so werenât sure weâd find varieties we liked, but we definitely did. And the owner Brent was so friendly and chatted with us for quite a while. We enjoyed our visit so much!
Shoutout to Cairn View Winery! I will preface this with I am not a wine drinker. HOWEVER, I spent the day there with my crew and had some of the best wine I have ever tasted! Everything I dislike about wine was not to be found in the 4 that I tasted. I have visited a number of wineries and would not return to any of them for the wine, but this one⊠I am already contemplating how I can get back up there for more!
In addition to the inside and porch seating, there is an adorable charcoal fire pit with adarondac chairs and blankets outside between the winery and Bent Tree Lodge & Vineyard. We sat by the fire, wrapped in blankets, laughing, sipping, and meeting new friends for hours. It made for a perfect day!
10/10 would highly recommend!

Our group of friends (4 grown, golden, joyful and thankful) ladies made the trek to this beautiful property. On a Thursday afternoon we had charcuterie desert and wine! The wine was very good, weather was perfect for January. The atmosphere was welcoming and cosy by the fireplace. There's a bed and breakfast on the property. The manager, we named him 'J' he was professional in a welcoming and attentive way, The owner can by and chatted, I know?? There's still great customer service in this place. I didn't give 5 stars because that leaves room for imagined growth. Highly recommend, yes we purchased some wine also. đ Hiking trails and lot's of outdoor activities if you choose.
