El Roble Mexican restaurant

Visited for the first time today - great atmosphere, super friendly staff, amazing service, excellent food… we will be back - there are so many things we want to try on the menu!!!

Absolute dumpster fire of a restaurant. The owner seemed drunk and spent the night screaming at his own servers like it was some kind of twisted dinner theater. Super uncomfortable, super trashy.

The servers were just as bad — rude, impatient, and clearly didn’t care, which honestly makes sense given how they’re treated.

And the food? Awful. Bland, sloppy, and tasted like it was made with zero effort or pride. Bad service, bad vibes, bad food.

Do yourself a favor and eat literally anywhere else.

I just had a wonderful experience here. After a tough day at a funeral my family of 13 decided to have a few drinks, hang out, and talk. Carlos was an excellent server and the whole establishment made us feel welcome even though we did not order much food. I will be returning for the supurb service alone. My favorite drink was the mango mariachi.

If you haven’t been there and had their Cuban food, especially the Cuban sandwich, stop what you’re doing, drop the fork and get down to El Roble in Jasper!!! You won’t regret it!!!

New to the area never been here before. Service was good and fast. Food was on par with other Mexican restaurants. Strip mall so not much parking. Easy access to hwy.
