We were visiting from Florida and felt like we stepped into another era in this cute and quaint ice cream shop. The staff was extremely friendly and allowed us to sample a few flavors but all of us decided on the Salted Caramel Pretzel Ice Cream. It was amazing! We will definitely come back!
Great service! Great ice cream. Loved the salted caramel pretzel and mint choc chip
Got some ice cream as a family after soccer practice. We all got different flavors and they were all amazing! We sat outside and enjoyed a wonderful early fall evening with a sunset. They packed our cups full and was totally worth it. We will definitely be back again!
Got a Brown Sugar Cinnamon White Mocha Frappe. It was delicious. The service was friendly and quick.
I was really excited to try this place and get some candy in bulk but unfortunately, this place fell way short of expectations. The candy I got was super stale and hard to chew and lacking flavor. A lot of the bulk candy containers were almost empty too. No music playing and the whole place was just a bit awkward. No bulk chocolate selection either.
Went by today for my step daughters birthday. Thank you so much to the sweet young ladies who were working. They were great. I really appreciate one of the ladies who took a family photo for us. Really cool place. We will definitely be back.
The ice cream was amazing. The staff was very helpful.
Milkshake was terrible, poor service
Today my travels took me to a small town in North Georgia (The First Mountain City - Jasper, GA). If you are in the area I would recommend to stop in and get a scoop!
I was really excited to finally get here because they serve the oldest ice cream in America (Bassetts Ice Cream).
Great vibe as you walk in and see all the candy and toys! Very Vibrant and welcoming!
The girl behind the counter was very friendly and I loved her smile! She was not too knowledgeable about the flavors and when they change out. The menu board was out dated!
Out of the 20 flavors they carry I tried at least 15 of them (not the non-dairy or ice).
Their coffee was very nice and had a smooth coffee flavor. The Peanut Butter, S’mores and Praline had great flavor!
The Peach was smooth but lacked the peach flavor punch. The Pomegranate Blueberry was a little gritty and not much flavor. The Salted Carmel Pretzel was good but unfortunately the pretzel gets stale.
Keep making America smile by serving the best treat ever!!!
Good Job!
Stopped in last weekend when passing through and was greeted with some of the best service I’ve received in a long time! Josie was the young lady working and she was just lovely. Very willing to answer any questions I had and her smile was so inviting as soon as I walked through the door! The ice cream options and retro treats are amazing too!! I will 100% return if I pass through again and recommend all my friends and family to do the same!

My dark chocolate milkshake was so good, I almost went back in for seconds! (No seriously) And the whipped cream is homemade.
Town is a small cute town and the storefront is cute! Only thing is I think the inside isn’t living up to its potential. It’s just the modern standard look. There’s so much potential for this cute place!
Also it’s good to have an ingredient list available for those with allergies. I wasn’t sure if I could get flavors I would have otherwise gotten. There is a system in place for nut allergies, but not anything for other common allergies.

Great flavors!
Absolutely wonderful littlest establishment on Main Street. Very quintessential mountain town place to visit.
Kids enjoyed the ice cream which tasted amazing in all three flavors that we got. I enjoyed a latte which was made with real espresso, she did a great job prepping and watching the flow for quality.
Buying candy by the pound is a wonderful treat for kids. Great little place.

As much as I enjoyed the 1 scope of sorbet in a cup I will not return due to the price, $6.07. Perhaps 2 scoops may have lessened the overall cost but that wasn't offered. Truth be told I didn't even look at the pricing just the flavors.
Dietary restrictions: Lactose intolerant, had a couple of sorbet flavors.
Parking: Depending on which way you're traveling it can be difficult to pull into the angled street parking which is shared by all of the businesses.
