We loved the vibe and the views from this cool, historic building in downtown Jasper. Service was exceptional and the food was great! The winning plate was the jalapeño burger, cooked perfectly and balanced nicely with sweet fried onions and a bit of heat from the jalapeños. The beer options were plentiful as well. Thank you for a wonderful lunch!

My husband, myself and our three young children enjoyed The Old Mulehouse. Not only was the brunch delicious, the service was great as well. I got the Salmon Cake Benedict and would most definitely order again. Shay, our server, was friendly, attentive and welcoming. I think people can underestimate good service, but it's just as important as good food.

first time visiting this restaurant and it definitely won’t be the last! From the moment we walked in, the service was excellent— Sierra (I believe was our waitress's name) very friendly, attentive, and extra welcoming and polite. The atmosphere was superb, making it a great place to relax and enjoy the meal. The food was outstanding, with flavors perfectly on point in every dish. Overall, it was a great experience from start to finish. Highly recommend checking this place out! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐you have to try the pretzel

I don't usually take pictures of my food... I was freezing and ordered the French onion soup as an appetizer. I sent this Pic to my daughter who is visiting Canada, in snow, 0°F, and a lot colder than I was. My husband and I are somewhat French Onion Soup snobs... we weren't sure what to think when we saw yellow cheese mixed in... HOWEVER, This soup surpassed all expectations! FANTASTIC! Highly recommend!!!! We both ordered burgers and chose grits as our side... I was considering the shrimp and grits, but was craving red meat. Our server told us the grits were the best she ever had, and they're often ordered.. LET ME TELL YOU... I would go back just for the grits!! They're a MUST HAVE!! The burgers were on point as well!! Messy and yummy!! They look a lil small, but they were filling! We order ours cooked medium. They fit inside the bun (meaning they didn't come to the edge or hang over). This place is a lil over an hour from where we live. We were in town for an appliance repair call (we are Canady Appliance Repair LLC). It was late, and we were starving. We asked our customer for a recommendation for somewhere that wasn't a chain. He named a couple places. When I looked this one up and saw pictures of the soup, my decision was made. We really expected a tavern type atmosphere and food, but this was more like a casual dining. A great menu, atmosphere, service, and their food was truly amazing!

attended a wedding rehearsal dinner and before getting our food (an hour late might i add), my 16 month old son and i were *openly* blasted with vape smoke by an employee in the bathroom while we were just trying to wash our hands, and she had the audacity to look at ME like i was CRAZY for saying “are you serious can you please NOT do that in here????” while 3 other employees proceeded to just stand in the *very tiny* bathroom and make jokes about a stinky toilet trying to convince one another to clean it — like its not their fckn job.
when asked to speak to a manager, a server was haphazardly grabbed as he was the first one to walk out of the kitchen door, and all he had to say to my concerns were ‘ok’ over and over and over again while the server who was vaping in the shared restaurant bathroom was standing right behind him with a smirk on her face.
some may think this isn’t a huge deal, and thank GOD my child doesn’t have any sort of health issues, but there are so many children AND adults out there who can be greatly effected by any sort of secondhand smoke and vapor.
so yeah, i guess go here if you want you and your children to be subjected to unsolicited secondhand vapor in the bathroom & employees with zero respect. 🫡
