First time at the Old Mulehouse (from Dawsonville). Thought we had found THE spot. Lovely building, friendly hostesses, and our server was exceptional.The wife ordered the house burger and I ordered the fish & chips. The burger was dry, nearly tough. The fish was more than a little undercooked. The inside of the batter was doughy at the ends and raw in the middle.We were essentially sightseeing, so sending our meals back and haggling over either replacements or refunds seemed like more effort than we'd brought with us.I feel bad that we didn't let our server know. She could have at least spoken with the kitchen or the manager, but we were ready to move along.Maybe your experience will surpass ours.Best of luck.

Feta cheese dip was outstanding. House reuben is excellent, but not really like a reuben.
Service speed was average, 20 something people in our party, waitress was kind, cook staff that helped deliver the food was pushy and rude, forgot my wife’s drink order (kinda bad to mess up the birthday girl’s order), T-Bone steak was on special ($61) figured it would be worth something to brag about. Absolute s h i t for a steak. Asparagus was great, manager never came by to check on service. Way too expensive for quality, not sure how they have any 5-Star reviews. Glad they kept our reservation, and didn’t have to wait in the rain. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

The food and service were fantastic, and we had a VERY LARGE group. The only issue is that it's a bit loud. Granted we were there on a rainy Friday night and the music was inside.
COME HERE if you have an event! Chelsea was an absolute DREAM to work with! She made planning my daughter’s rehearsal dinner effortless. She is super sweet, professional and PROMPT with communication on her end and patient with me and my countless questions. Our party of 30 had an absolute blast and our family and friends RAVED about the food, the venue and the icing on the cake was the Friday night live music! Best pecan pie I’ve ever had in my life! The food was absolute perfection and we got to take home leftovers which was awesome so I didn’t have to cook for days and a lot of restaurants don’t do this - Chelsea and Gabe ran our event like a boss and it was a night we will always remember ??

Our server tonight was Chandler. We requested him because he is committed to providing excellent service and is very knowledgeable about food allergies -mine happens to be gluten. Chandler knows the menu and is able to share what is safe for me to eat. If I would like something questionable he knows how to adjust ingredients to make it safe. Tonight we finally tried the creme brulee! Everything we have tried is delightful. The bar drinks are on point as well. Perfect for any occasion!!
Food and drinks are really good, so is the service. Outside dining is perfect for pups. They provide water for dogs. We'll be back many times.
