Never, ever again in my life will I order delivery from Dairy Queen on Jekyll Island. When I placed my order on the DQ app it said that I’d have my order within 13 minutes, which seemed plausible given that my hotel is 3 minutes away. 2 hours and 30 minutes later and still no food. Dairy Queen International needs to pull this operator’s franchise and find some skilled talent to run this location! Simply awful!
Food was good, service was good... Actually one of the best fast food experiences we've had in probably the past year.

Why do these employees hate life and their customers so much? This is a beautiful Dairy Queen to work at, even if it is attached to a gas station. I worked at a Dairy Queen in the middle of nowhere PA during high school and I know what I am asking for is not hard to do at all. Since they choose not to stock chocolate soft serve, I asked for chocolate sauce added to the blizzard. I got more specific this time because 2 days ago, they barely put any chocolate in my same order. This time I made sure to repeat they could charge me extra, please don’t worry about flipping it upside down, I know chocolate makes it a bit more liquid-y. Well, she slammed these two blizzards down on the counter like she did not gaf about the mess she just made for herself to clean up 😂 And despite charging me for 2 chocolate sauces, they couldn’t even get the chocolate in the blizzard, it was just on top, pouring over the side. Also not putting pickles on a burger when asked is super easy. She made sure there were extra pickles. These people just hate life and are taking it out on the ice cream and the people that love it. Stay clear of this one 😬

UPDATE: 9/17/2024: was told to reach out, I reached out to the DQ customer service on 9/12/2024, they took my information and told me that someone from the store would reach out...still haven't heard. Based on the past review being similar to mine, I doubt the owners even care because it is a tourist spot.. which is so sad and disappointing!
They were out of one of the items to make my ice cream. Instead of asking me if the substitution was acceptable they just put it in my ice cream and didn't say anything. It tasted horrible and would have much rather gotten something else. I'll stick to my home town DQ. That was unacceptable to not even ask me if I was OK with a substitution

Stopped here for an after-dinner dessert and it definitely could have been better. It started off fine, the lady who took our order was super nice (Alaina I think?). However, my husband had ordered a Chocolate Extreme Blizzard and it did not look like the typical blizzard we have gotten many times before at other locations. What he got was a melty vanilla cup of soup. They did not serve our blizzards upside down and if they had, this would have resulted in a huge mess as they were not the normal blizzard consistency. Normally the chocolate extreme blizzard also looks a lot more chocolatey than this. He asked several times if it was correct. The people working behind the counter kept ignoring him and then finally said “yeah.” The quality of this blizzard was extremely subpar. I had ordered an Oreo fudge brownie blizzard with chocolate soft serve instead of vanilla and this was obviously a lot more chocolatey. If I had ordered a normally, it definitely would be more vanilla and not at all like the advertising pictures.

This was my first time going to Dairy Queen. It was nice. I mean I was at another city. The people there were very nice. They just sounded very tired.
Wheelchair accessibility: It had those ramps for wheelchairs

The food was absolutely scrumptious. I have gluten and lactose intolerance issues. So, I had the double bacon cheeseburger with no bun, and cheddar cheese instead of American and white cheeses. My burger and fries were fresh, hot, and delicious. That was the best burger I've had in a fast-food restaurant in a long time. I also got my food very quickly.
However, I do have a few small complaints. Firstly, the restaurant doesn't carry pepper. I asked for salt and pepper, and she told me they don't "carry" pepper. I don't understand why any restaurant wouldn't carry pepper.
Secondly, the restaurant is very small. It is located within a Circle K, so I understand the limited space issue. But the space that they have is not being fully maximized because it needs to be redesigned. Walking around the other customers was like navigating through a maze.
Lastly, when I walked in, two young ladies were sweeping the lobby ceiling, getting dust out of the vents. They didn't stop when I walked in. It's so small in there that I had to walk under one of the brooms they were using. That job should be done outside of business hours, preferably after closing, because dust particles will remain in the air for a long time after sweeping the ceiling. That could be a big problem for asthmatics and other people with respiratory issues. Also, I walked right past them both and neither said "hello" or "welcome" or anything.

Delicious food, very friendly staff, great prices. They even gave our little doggie a "pup cup" of ice cream and helped us carry our food out to the picnic tables. Highly recommend eating here.

Just got served something that was not ice cream. Consistency and color was not the normal Dairy Queen ice cream. It was yellow and appeared to be ice milk. Taste was disgusting. 4 of us threw our orders out. 2 Peanut Butter Parfaits, medium blizzard and a strawberry sunday, all trash. Parfaits didn't have the correct amount of fudge, hardly any. Sunday was supposed to have chocolate dip, but had chocolate sauce instead.
Overall terrible expensive experience.
Shameful.
Do better DQ.

Visited 7/12/24 for lunch before heading to the beach. 4 stars only because the place was slammed and seemed under staffed so we had to wait a bit for our food. Food was delicious though and hats off to the employees working under pressure to get us all fed.
