11 Best Salad Restaurants near Jekyll Island

“This past Sunday my best friend and I went over to Jeykll island to go for a walk with both of our dogs on the beach, because it has been so cool during the morning time. When we ended up walking around on the beach for awhile and ended up getting hungry for some lunch. So we walked into the little stores around the hotels and right as we stepped into the concreate area with all the stores is when we saw a restaurant called Corridor Z. We ended up stopping and seeing they had outside setting facing the water so we were glad because we could take our dogs with us as well. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a very nice host that had already started asking us what breed our dogs were. She kindly showed us to the outside seating and sat us under a seat with a fan because it started to get a little warm outside. Then a nice server greeted us and asked us for our drink order and when he came back with our drinks, he always had water for our dogs. Me and my friend couldn't decide on what to order because we had never been there. What also was appealing was the pricing to us it wasn't as expensive as you would think a place on Jeykll would be. I ended up order a Plain chicken Sandwhich with French fries. Very basic but it sounded delicious at the time. It wasn't to much longer as we ordered the server was already bringing out our entree. It looked mighty appealing and my friend order also looked good. The taste was very good the chicken was very tender and the flavoring was so good for a basic chicken Sandwhich and my dog also had a bite and she also agreed it was very good. The service and environment of the restaurant was a very relaxing as the porch area looks on to the beach. For someone that has never been there. I will definitely go back again!“

The potatoe ship skillet, Brussels sprouts, beet hummus and veggies, stuffed pretzel , and Caesar salad were awesome! Can’t wait to go back !“

“I’ve been a regular takeout customer for years - the food and service is always great. I usually order a curry, which they change up/rotate every day. Today when I asked what kind of curry they had, they told me “oh, we serve all of them every day now.” In a time like this when many restaurants are struggling, I thought it was worth highlighting that this place is actually expanding their services and their customers’ options! 👏👏👏“

What set this restaurant apart for me was the staff. Summer and Kayla were a really good team and all smiles the whole time. Additionally they went above and beyond to help my mom. They answered in depth questions about the lemonade since mom has a food allergy, and brought her service dog water in a bowl. They were kind, compassionate, and never batted an eye at the questions or dog. This was by far one of the best restaurant experiences we've had since mom got her service dog years ago. It set her at ease and allowed the dog to do her job to keep mom safe from her medical condition. Thank you so much.“

“We love Frosty’s! Everytime we come to The island my husband and boys have to eat at frostys. The outdoor dining is our favorite, and the staff are always so friendly. Plus, the food is amazing!“

“Their pizza is pretty good. I like that you can order online and it's ready when you get there. If they only had a drive thru and we're at a different location. The parking sucks and there's always a lot of traffic throughput this shopping center. The pizzas are pretty expensive for what they are but they're decent and fast. Sometimes that's worth it. If you have time and want really good pizza, take the trip to Arte's downtown. They're worth the trip.“
