Finally a server came out and took the order of the table next to us, that was sat at their table about 7 minutes after us, without ever acknowledging us. Even after I raised my had and said excuse me she ignored me and went inside. We will not be visiting again.

We came in at 10:45am, the waitress Bea (very nice) said we could still order on the breakfast menu. The breakfast menu has a crab cake on it. My wife tried to order it and was told that they were not making crab cakes until 11:00. At this point it was 10:57 so my wife said that's fine let's wait to put my order in then because she really wanted the crab cakes as previous reviews said they are good. Perhaps the kitchen was mad that she ordered the crabcake anyway but on the lunch menu, if you don't want to make them why are they listed on both breakfast AND lunch menus. I don't know how else to explain how terrible it was. There was no crab they gave her a flattened bread cake sloppily put on a sandwich. It was disgusting. While service was great, the food is garbage and I don't recommend going here unless you're stranded on the island.

Great experience, as they welcomed our pup Lavern with a bowl of water. We ate in the patio, both having the wild caught GA shrimp. I had the side of cheese grits and it was all great! Plus a sweet tea, of course.

Great little stop for a quick bite - we came in for lunch while riding bicycles on Jekyll. Quick, friendly service. Food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. Fresh flavorful ingredients on the turkey BLT wrap and BLT sandwich. Fruit cup was the GOOD fruit, all very fresh. Fries were great as well.
Will definitely be back!

I ordered to go from this restaurant and was surprised there was a 20% service charge, which I was happy to pay if that was what they required for to go orders. There was a sign at the restaurant that a 3% convenience pay applies for credit card payments but there was no mention about the service fee. However what made me want to write this review is in addition to the 20% service charge, there is a field for tip.. for to go orders that they already charge service fee for?!? . š¤£š¤£š¤£ I ordered mahi mahi platter and poboy sandwich. Fish was $20 and it looks pathetic for $20. If the restaurant wants to charge $20 for a meal and 20% service charge make the meal looks $20
Wow weāve never been laughed at by employees when we attempted to go to their restaurant. We were excited to go there but they were cleaning and the restaurant was closed. There was no sign or notice online that they were closed so we didnāt know.
When we arrived they were cleaning, laughed at us and told us they are closed. weāve been places before that clean and service customers. The problem wasnāt that they were cleaning or even that they were closed but to have staff members laugh at you because you wanted to get breakfast was unprofessional and unnecessary.

Unfortunately, our experience started off on the wrong foot due to the hostess. We were not greeted when we arrived, and as we walked toward the entrance, we were abruptly told that if we wanted a table we needed to wait outside. There was no explanation given beforehand, and the way it was communicated came across as rude and dismissive. After driving over 7 hours and 40 minutes to reach this destinationāan area that is very dear to me and tied to childhood memories from more than 15 years agoāthis interaction was especially disappointing. Had the hostess been doing her job by simply greeting us upon arrival, instead of seemingly profiling us based on how we looked after a long drive, we would have immediately understood the seating process and waited outside without issue. This employee would greatly benefit from retraining in basic customer service, including how to greet guests and how to speak to people respectfully. First impressions matter, and unfortunately this one left a negative mark on what was meant to be a meaningful and nostalgic visit.
