We came twice for breakfast. Food was quick and the staff was some of the friendliest people we have met.

We ordered 4 meals. The salad was good with fresh ingredients. The grilled flounder was not well seasoned. My son said he enjoyed the turkey BLT wrap. The chicken tenders were good, but for an adult portion, there were so few and they were tiny. The thing that will make me reconsider returning is the 20% service charge for to-go orders - that is pretty steep. For our meals, the service charge totaled $16. I wanted to give 3 stars because of the service charge, but since the food was decent, I gave 4 stars.

Was downtown Jekyll so stopped in for a bite for lunch. ...Wife had the crab cake sandwich and I the turkey BLT. Both sandwiches were good, but I believe the condiment they gave for the cake sandwich was kept at room temp which cause digestive problems!! (Reason for 4) Other than that, great place to eat, cool down from heat and chat with the servers. And sweet tea was perfect!!

My server Jonathan was very rude. So much so that I left with my two little girls very hungry this afternoon. The whole place when I walked in from the start had a bad vibe and didn’t have a pleasant smell walking in. I felt very unwelcomed. I asked the hostess multiple times for a high chair and she ignored me. When I asked again, an older women with long hair in a pony tail said very rudely that shes going to eventually grab it. I asked Jonathan if he could bring me a side of ketchup for my daughter and he replied with there’s ketchup right there pointed and rolled his eyes. I then asked him if the kitchen could please cut my 2 years olds burger in half, he said ā€œIm telling you right now, the kitchen won’t be doing that. It’s not happening and won’t happen. I’ll bring you a knifeā€ I made a comment back that they wouldn’t cut a babies burger in half for a customer I’ve never heard of such a thing ? Again rolled his eyes! at that point I said I will pay for my drinks and won’t be ordering and he told me drinks are on the house have a good one and walked away. He then Walked up to the women with the long pony tail behind the bar literally talking about me right in front of me. Atmosphere sucked service absolutely sucked and by the smell of the place smelling like sewage I’m glad I made the choice to keep my money and enjoy our meals with great customer service across the street. 0 stars

I saw at the bar for a quick lunch. Ordered a slaw dog with Mac and an ordered of GA wild shrimp fried with their cheese grits. Needed a hotdog after the seafood I’ve been eating on the island. I’ll just say the service at the bar was fantastic and the fried shrimp was arguably the best I’ve had in my life. The seasoning they used is spectacular. This will definitely be on my list when I come back to the island. I’m telling, get the fried shrimp!

I’m unable to give a review on the food, however I’m sure it’s great. The only thing I can give a review on are my first interactions with the staff. Myself, fiance, and 2 small children (a toddler and infant) were there this morning at 11. We were the second group in after they opened back up for lunch. My infant was asleep in his stroller. My toddler was being held by dad and was going to get in a high chair. Upon entering the hostess showed us to our table. Dad was getting the table situated so our toddler could sit in the high chair. I wheeled the stroller up to the table and the woman at the bar instructed me on where would be best to put my infant since he was in a stroller. Which I thought was a little weird considering I’d never had anyone tell me where I had to put my child before. I put it on the side of the table where she said so as to keep it out of the way of the walkway, although it was not my first time in an establishment with a stroller so I already knew this. She then huffed and puffed as if my child’s stroller were an inconvenience and said it needed to be on the other side of the table against the wall and right beside a stack of chairs higher than the stroller. The employee didn’t even give my family time to breathe or sit a bag down before instructing me on what needed to be done. I just wanted to make all the mamas with littles like myself aware of this, that way you know they may or may not be able to accommodate your stroller šŸ™‚
