Went here today December 29, 2022 about 2:00pm. Waited about 20 minutes. Busy but not crowded. 4 of us, 2 were grandchildren. Other children and families. Saying this to say that it is a given the alcohol customers are more important to restaurants. We were sat at a table and waited for about 15 minutes before the guy who sat us noticed the look on my face. He sent the bartender from outside to wait on us. AND HE DID! My husband and I got married on Driftwood Beach in July 2021. We come back a few times a year and Tortuga Jacks is an absolute must for us. There flipping french toast is the best French toast and bacon is crispy. Most importantly Sergio is the best server. Our drinks stay full, food on point, all around great guy.
Best restaurant on the island!! Their quesadillas are delicious and we enjoyed the plantains also! We've camped on the island for six nights and have been three times.
