Zachry's Riverhouse on Jekyll Island.
We asked if we could put two tables together and wow the waitress Amy W started pissed off and RUDE, and rude is a nice word for her. I was scared to even send my under cooked chicken tenders back.
She snapped at 3 people in our party and snatched the credit card holder out of my hand and slammed it down on the table. She is lucky we weren't in the mood to cause a scene. She made my 1st experience my last. Will not go back.

Great food.Flounder was cooked perfectly.Husband shrimp and oysters were awesome.Give big portions.Everytime I visit Jekyll we eat here once or twice.Reasonabld priced.Beautiful sunset if you catch it eating outside.

Hands down the hush puppies you will ever eat in your life! I would come here just for that but everything else is excellent as well. Food, service, and atmosphere.

We ate here 2 yrs ago and food was delicious. This year was a big disappointment. The shrimp was okay but we cooked some of our own that wad much better. The green beans served were supposed to have bacon in them but didn't find any and they tasted like they came from a can. The redskins were served in a dish with the type of butter flavored oil you get at a cinema on your popcorn. Not good. As for the crabcakes, they were mushy. No chunks of crab. The only texture found were the multiple pieces of shell throughout the crab cake. On the plus side the hushpuppies were great. The draft beer was flat. I hear they have the best keylime pie but after the dinner experience I opted not to get a piece to go. Don't know if mom's retirement had a hand in the downfall but it's sad to see the quality drop.😔

We ate here 2 years ago and I rated the shrimp one of the best, in the top 3 that I ever had.
Today it was average at best, very disappointing. Nothing special

Lunch here was ah-mazing! Our server was so attentive and kind. I ordered a mahi sandwich extra blackened with fries and it was HANDS DOWN the best food we’ve had in 5 days between St Simon and Jekyll. I don’t normally find fries to be “good” but these- I couldn’t stop eating! Delicious!

Both kids loved their burgers and the key lime pie is homemade and so good. The photo is of our second piece, but we forgot both times to take a picture when it was first brought out.

Most of the food was really good. Service was great. The ONLY issue I had which didn't have anything to do with the restaurant itself was the people bringing their yapping dog and not getting to enjoy some what peace while eating. We were outside on the deck and it was great up until the family brought their dog. It barked at almost everyone that came on the porch. Again, not the restaurants fault. But I'm just not a fan of people bringing pets round a restaurant unless it's a support dog of some sort, I have zero issues of that cause I respect they are needed.
Other than that service was great. Our waiter was such a sweet guy and very attentive. Food, as I said most was good. I wasn't a huge fan of the Phillycheese steak, tasted a little dry but I enjoyed the crab stew!
