The owner & his family make authentic Caribbean food straight from the islands with homemade flavor 🄹 He is very attentive and loves his passion of cooking with true love for what he does! Amazing man with a great family that love their customers. Thank you for giving me a taste of home again!

While I list this one time I come here as often as I can. I've been served the best I've ever had of multiple dishes here, but my strongest recommendations are the ox tails for the meal and the banana pudding for dessert, though I've yet to order anything from here I didn't love every bite of. Whether you're dining solo, with family, or need a place with amazing food to impress a date One Love has you covered. And if you're a fan of reggae music you're definitely in luck. Great tunes add to the atmosphere, but of course the star is the food. The portions are large, but I have no problems finishing every bit due to the incredible quality. If you want real Island and Soul Food where love is a primary ingredient this is the place. You won't be disappointed. As for pricing it's worth every penny. Do yourself a favor and give this restaurant a chance. If you do your first time surely won't be your last, as the food will keep you coming back for more. I've eaten at reservation only steak houses and many fine dining restaurants in the area and none can hold a candle to One Love. As long as I'm anywhere near the area One Love will always be my first choice for dining out

Ten out of ten every single time. Trent is the man. Amazing food and customer service. A true gem in this small town, and the best restaraunt here hands down. Argue with ya mama šŸ˜‚ā¤ļø

For my beautiful people who love their chicken cooked with more than salt and pepper, this review is for you!!

I love Caribbean food—I’ve eaten it all over the world.

The first thing I was told when I arrived was a list of everything they didn’t have, which was also posted on the white sheet by the counter.
I ended up ordering the jerk chicken only because the menu was so limited. They didn’t have curry goat, oxtail, or brown stew chicken. Even beef patties were missing.

I drove home, got comfy, and opened my food. My first thought was: Is that BBQ sauce on my jerk chicken? And why is it smothered in it? I took a bite and, yep—it tasted like regular store-bought BBQ. I wasn’t impressed. I tried a piece closer to the bone, hoping for better flavor, but it had none at all.

I moved on to the cabbage… and couldn’t even swallow it. Cooking cabbage right is a technique—if you know, you know.
The rice and peas were probably the best part. It's not great, but it's not terrible either—just okay.

Based on this experience, I won’t be coming back. But if you’re looking for an amazing Caribbean spot where you can smell the spices from outside the door, do yourself a favor and go to DJ’s Caribbean Kitchen!

Chef Terrance was the friendliest business owner in South Georgia.
Then, learning he was the chef, too, was awe-inspiring.
Immediately, we knew the love he put into his work would be reflected in the meal we were about to enjoy. We were not disappointed. Food was served on large platter size dishes. We thought we might be asking for a takeout.
So delicious šŸ˜‹. The only thing I took to go was desert. Don't forget to stop in for an authentic taste of the Islands. You won't be disappointed or hungry when you leave.

First time eating here, we had the oxtail and the curry chicken. They were divine!! Chef Trent was a delight, and we will definitely be coming back. Well deserving of all the awards they have amassed. Island comfort food at its finest.
