Place was recommended!! Drove 45 mins from Ft.Stewart area and when I tell you the food was bomb!!! I mean just that…. I enjoyed every bite I had to take a plate to go as well!! Very very good! Cooking with love is the key to good food!! ❤️
Authentic food filled with LOVE! The passion Chef Trent brings to the table (pun intended) makes dining here an experience! Highly recommended! The specialty drinks are worth trying as well as the coconut shrimp plate!
I was very pleasantly surprised to find One Love in Jesup, GA. Where I live, there’s a a Jamaican restaurant (or two) on every corner and I thought I’d be missing out on good food until I go back home. When the polite young gentleman at the front let me know they were out of a few things already, I knew I was in for a treat because you don’t sell out of things if they aren’t good. So let’s get into it. The Oxtail: falling off the bone as it should. Juicy, tender, and full of flavor. Pigeon pea rice: initially I wanted the red bean rice (or what we call rice and peas at home) but they were out so I opted for the pigeon pea rice. It was so good, I’m glad they were out of the red bean rice because I probably wouldn’t have tried it otherwise. The cabbage: flavorful and tender without being mushy or soggy. The mac and cheese: It’s so good I would serve this at Thanksgiving dinner. The guava passion lemonade: immediately reminded me of bouncing around the Caribbean and South America in the summers. Overall, I LOVED everything I ordered. The service was excellent, and the afro beats gently playing in the background definitely contributed to a pleasant atmosphere. I think the awards on the walls are well deserved!

My family & I love eating at this clean and welcoming restaurant. The food is always hot and delicious! My husband loves how his jerk chicken falls off the bone! This is the best Caribbean restaurant I’ve ever ate at!

You've got to try One Love!! EVERYTHING we had was delicious!! Coconut curry shrimp and Paradise shrimp, plantains, and the fantastic mac & cheese! We, of course, had to try the desserts, island banana pudding and guava cheese empanadas! So so good! Everyone was super helpful with all of our questions and made sure we had a great time! I wish we had tried One Love sooner, but it will definitely be on the top of our local restaurant list!!!

It was my first time going and I had oxtail and was excellent, very tender and perfect flavor. My wife had the chicken curry and I had to taste her food very excellent also. We had on the side Mac/ cheese, red beans/ rice and green beans everything was delicious even the green beans had an excellent flavor. We stay a hour away but we will be coming back.

This place is AMAZING! New favorite place in town, hands down!!! A friend and I dined in and decided to try a few different dishes to get a full palette of what they offer.
The island juice is such a refreshing, delicious change from ordinary drinks.
The curry coconut shrimp was so good and savory! The Caribbean shrimp was delicious with a little kick of spice.
The macaroni and cheese was creamy and covered in real shredded cheese so it was perfect. Not dry or too watery. The fried plantains were crispy and delicious.
Now to the best part. The fried empanadas I could eat daily they are so good. The perfect blend of guava and cheese. Crispy and savory. I had to save the best for last. The island banana pudding. I literally begged for the recipe. It is a show stopper. It is so original and so delicious.
Lastly, the service. The waiter brought is multiple samples before we ordered. He checked on us to make sure the food was good. He was a 10/10. But the best part of the restaurant was the owner himself came out and chatted with us and asked us about our food and was really personable and so friendly.
I just can’t rave enough! We will 100% be back!

Frequent Flyer. I hit this place up every time I'm in Jesup. I've never had a bad experience. Everything on the menu is absolute gold. They carry Ting soda. Chef comes out and explains daily specials and rice of the day (never pass up the pigeon peas rice if you get the chance). The place always puts me in a good mood or a food coma.

Had the oxtail, cabbage, and sweet plantains. It was to die for. Then I had the award winning banana pudding, it was scrumptious. This was my 1st time there. I was invited by The Minors. The cook came out and talked to us, the host was superb, beautiful woman. Can't wait to eat there again.
