Not very good. Cheese wontons were tough and chewy, the meat in the pho was low quality, and it's more expensive than the better pho restaurants 5 minutes away.

Le Mekong has gone downhill in the past year and we won't be going anymore.

We've been regulars for the past 4-5 years and they were previously a very reliable spot. Things have definitely changed for the worse. The last three visits have convinced us they either changed management, cooks, or suppliers. First, I always get the large combo pho. The taste is still the same, but their portions have decreased - esp. the tendon and tripe. Second, the last two times we ordered their shaking beef, it tasted spoiled. We NEVER send food back, but this was a first for us. We sent it back for tasting straight-up spoiled. No apology no nothing. They remade the dish, and it was definitely better, but it still tasted borderline. Lastly, their house fried rice wasn't seasoned the same (lacked flavor) and didn't have pineapples like they usually do.

I'm still giving them two stars for the service overall (usually pretty good) and the ambiance (usually pretty clean). Also, probably not their fault, but the last time I squeezed Sriracha into my pho, the cap completely came off into my pho (yuck). It was probably someone pranking customers. I'd like to think it wasn't the staff.

Anyway, I hope they get their act together. I'm sad to lose a regular spot.

Update. Seems like all their management responses are AI-generated. Just simply acknowledging shortcomings without any explanations and with placeholders (e.g., [email/phone number here]) for contact info. Reducing another star for not even making the effort to reply properly or take customer concerns seriously.

Fish was salty. I felt service could be better. Overall it was okay experience. Would recommend going there but not to experience dine in restaurant. Felt more like fast food service.

Absolutely phenomenal meal. Reasonable prices, excellent service. Try The Clay Pot Rice Bowl with your preferred meat. Holy moly. Comes the table hot and sizzling.

The flavor of soup has changed, along with ingredients (choice of meat) is not as fresh as it used to,, last time the tendon was gooey, the week after that the shrimp was on the verge of being spoiled.. now we’re looking for our weekly pho house.

We won't come back. Not sure what's going on. Did they change ownership? The food tastes different now. Spicy beef noodle is no longer spicy. The broth used to be thicker. Nothing special with Caramelized fish hot pot either.

I always go to Le mekong, since it's a close location. However, recently the quality has gotten worse and the service as well. The staff seemed like he didn't care and wasn't attentive at all. We ordered the beef pho, which tasted okay. We also ordered the cream cheese rangoon/wonton and it was very dry and had no filling at all.

We ordered 2 soups for a pick up. I came in, paid for the order and then was handed the receipt with "extra tip" line. I looked over my receipt to find tip of 10% was added to my order already, without me knowing. You do not see this as there is no POS system, just a card reader, so you are charged without seeing the charges. When I asked why would you automatically add a 10% tip on " take out" order, the person said it's for the to go containers, then she said that everone does that and kept lying while another worker kept speaking to her in Vietnamese. Very dishonest! I am not obligated to tip for "to go" orders, especially just adding a 10% without customer knowing.
I waited to at least try the food and see if that will redeem it. Well, my husband found long black hair in the congealed noodles. Yuck! Never again!

We went there tonight with friends and we tried a soup night. My friends had the combination pho and they were delighted with the tasty soup they got. I went with my simple Tom yum soup, which was good, but they forgot the shrimp.. when I asked about it, they brought me some but charged me twice in the bill... I didn't complain because it was only 5$ (2$ for the shrimp that should have come first and 3$ they charged for the extra ones later)... Anyways, that will not damage the taste of the plates. Very good

Decent Vietnamese spot. We'd recommend their non Pho options as they were all tasty and wholesome.

DISGUSTING…Cockroach found floating in my pho. This ruined my whole lunch as I almost threw up. Honestly speaking this place should have to go through a thorough health inspection seeing how previously other people found hair in their food as well. This place has downgraded so much over time. Also customer service is almost nonexistent as well. Truly unacceptable.

When they were first open they were good. Service isn't friendly and they don't acknowledge you when you walk In. Food isn't that great and is overpriced. Pho dai loi on pleasant hill is still my number 1 place to go
