Sankranti Indian Restaurant & Banquets

We were interrupted multiple times by our server mid conversation to ask if everything was okay. This was unnecessary and annoying. The food was excellent, however the server's description (IE; the menue describes a meat dish served with basmati rice, server asks if we want rice) didn't match the menu description, which led to some confusion. The restaurant itself is huge, beautiful, and has a massive parking lot. This would be ideal for an event.

Beautiful restaurant, great ambience, but the main course served to us was not what it said it should be. We ordered a dal makhni and while tasted good, it had black chana vs.dal. Similarly for Chettinad chicken, the taste was more like Karahi Chicken. Two of our starters were really good though! Some of their menu items were also out as there were two private parties ongoing that seemed to cause a lot of distraction for the staff!

The service as well as the food was very good. What makes the restaurant so great is that the restaurant was are very personable and they remember you from past visits.

Really enjoyed the ambience and food. Highly recommend Sankranti to anyone looking for good food.

Not worth it. Staff is unfriendly especially the person at entrance. Food is not up to the mark. Did not like the service.

We were 5 ppl, went around 2:30 pm . We know they are closing at 3 pm . But we were taking the food items , they had taken serving spoons irrespective of thinking about us. We have come long way to enjoy food, but we did not taste some items yet. We asked them , we were about to have some of the items and they did not listen to us and taken away the stuff. They should have stopped us at 2:30 pm only when they don’t serve after 3 pm .

We were a party of 20 plus (adults and kids included). They were nice to accommodate all of us by arranging tables together. The buffet seating area was spacious so it was easy for all of us to move around specially with kids.
Buffet options are nice and food tasted good specially their pani puri was rly yum and live dosa station was a good addition. Service was great! They took rly good care of us. And the place was clean and spacious.

This is buffet style. Most of the food was spicy and good. Keep in mind that my heat tolerance is medium at best. The atmosphere was very nice and the service was great.
