I’m a southern girl the barbecue was not bbq’ n at all. This was this worst I’ve ever ate and it made my sons stomach ache. The macaroni was the worst.

My husband and I use to go to Big Ed's when he was in Riverdale. We went to his new location today and ordered a pulled pork sandwich, 3 rib bone sandwich and a half a slab. I couldn't see the pull pork under the bun. The portion size is for a kid's meal. The ribs were tough not tender. I will not be visiting this location again.

We’ve had Big Ed’s a couple of times before he moved and the food was always great. The food from this visit was awful. We ordered two pull pork dinners and a rib tip dinner with two lemonades. It came out to $44. Each plate came with two sides. We had the same sides Mac and cheese and baked beans. The Mac and Cheese was hard and barely edible. The baked beans were straight out the can. And the lemonade was Country Time with no sugar added. We didn’t wait long and it was obvious that nothing was that fresh. I would have given the pull pork a pass until I chewed something rubbery. We will never go again.

I went there for the 1st time and the BBQ was dry, the Cole slaw didn't have any flavor, and Big Ed did not seem to be very friendly. He has some interesting pics on the walls tho.
The food was excellent... "finger lickin' good". The food and service will make you come back for more!

Had to wait at the counter 10 minutes. Tried being patient but when the guy never turned around to say “one second ma’am “ or better yet I’ll be with u soon.... I said “hello” and that’s when he said one minute. It was actually 10 minutes later. The sun was beaming down and he didn’t even apologize for the extended wait. It’s almost impossible to support black owned business because they truly remind you why you should just go to Sonny’s bbq.

I'm so disappointed in the potato salad, It doesn't taste homemade, taste store bought. I couldn't imagine a Bbq joint not making their sides from scratch. Very disappointing
