Wow! Just...wow! The food at this place took me back to Sunday dinners at my Granny's in the backwoods of SC! The restaurant definitely lives up to it's name Country Charm! I had the chicken pot pie with mashed potatoe topping instead of crust. Omg! Fantastic! Beef stew was amazing. Mac n cheese to die for! And good old fashioned pan cornbread for sopping up the goodness!! Highly recommend!
Food is excellent as always. Meats are juicy, tender, crispy and perfectly seasoned. The veggies are very very good and fruits are ripe and flavorful. 2nds are automatic.
Food is good, price is right. Eat there at least twice a week, always favorites to choose from. Haven't had a bad meal yet. Will continue to patronize local small business.
Good food, good price and good people
This place is outstanding! The food is great and the staff made you feel like family!
Ate here around 1pm with my dad food was barley hot, slight warmed and me and my dad order water and got these cheap watercups and plastic ware and plastic plates the food was disappointing and disgusting. The fish tasted soggy and the green beans tasted like they were out of the can and the mashed potato’s were so wet it was almost as you could drink them and the list go’s on. this place has went down hill tremendously since COVID.
This is my first time at the restaurantI And words can't describe the experience that I hadThe atmosphere the food staffWas excellent It's almost like youEating and being at home
WOW!! What an experience!! I can't eat the way I used to, but WOW, I'm telling you my eyes are always bigger than my stomach when I eat here!! Pastor Jimmy has done his thing with providing a restaurant with quality food and an enjoyable atmosphere!! This is one buffet restaurant that will give you an option of dining in or purchasing a single plate to go!! If you are a foodie like me, be sure to come with a healthy appetite and FEAST on those short ribs, that DELICIOUS mac & cheese, the meatloaf, THE DRESSING, those red beans and rice, THAT PEACH COBBLER...and they even have OXTAILS upon request!!! This is definitely the spot to bring the family or friends or business associates and break bread together!!! I prefer to go on a Sunday BEFORE the churches let out.....cuz when they DO........OMG....it's every man for himself..LOL The food IS EXQUISITE and I highly recommend this spot!! Remember, tell them Big Meach sent you!!
I liked it but most of my family didn't. Needs more options

If looking for Grandma's cooking this is the place! You'll find a variety of meats and veggies, a fruit and salad bar that's sure to please all your taste buds! The banana pudding and the peach cobbler are heavenly. While you are offered limitless refills of lemonade, tea and water, you may purchase a can soda as well. Great staff! Don't forget to ring the bell if you enjoyed the food and your dining experience!
My wife and I were driving around Clayton County today and decided to go to Golden Corral. We first went to the one in Stockbridge, but they were packed to the point people were parking in a completely separate parking lot. Then we decided to go to the one in Jonesboro. We called (we thought) and they assured us they were open, but when we got there, NOPE, closed fOReVeR!!!!So we started googling and seeing what was around us. We were surprised to find Country Charm Buffet only a half-mile down the road. The description said soul food, and it was a 3.7rating so we figured, sure....let's do it.Are we glad we did! The price was great. For the 2 of us, buffet, drinks, and tip, it was only $35. The buffet choices, compared to chain restaurants, isn't as varied, BUT, the love in the food makes up for it. The salad bar was great. Especially their tuna salad. The veggies/starches were amazing as well. Their collards with turkey were out of this world. A little hotsauce and I was in heaven. The blackeyed peas were creamy but lacked a little salt. **Note** I noticed a few things that lacked a bit of salt. The rest of the seasonings were there, so I think maybe they're just trying to be a little on the healthier side and allow diners to salt their plates to their liking. But, let's go on from there. The meats were fantastic. The ribs were some of the most tender I've had. The turkey leg was moist and tender. The meatloaf was as good as I've ever tasted. I didn't even need ketchup. I only had 2 plates (salad and mains), but I'm dieting, so it is what it is.The dessert ...I only tried 2. The banana pudding was legit. The chocolate cake was just phenominal. 3 layers. A bottom of cake, middle of a mousse, and top of something like whipped cream mixed with Oreos.Oh....and the service was great, too. Multiple servers checking on us for satisfaction or drinks.Definitely check them out if you're in the mood for a soul-food buffet or just good homecooked food all together. It's well worth the time and money.
