I love this place!!!! The sorrel and the fresh juices with mango are amazing, I can’t get enough of those. Even as a pescatarian I found a great choice of meals, the fish was delicious and seasoned right. Will definitely tell my friends about this

It’s now my new favorite Jamaican spot. My food is always hot when I get it. The turkey wings are magnificent, it’s all I get and my husband swears by their oxtail. It’s a clean establishment and the service we receive is always good however, it could be better. My only take away is I think the employees could be a little more welcoming and friendly… or engaging rather… especially to first time customers. Sometimes the food being good isn’t enough to make a returning customer. Even a smiles goes a long way. Makes the customers feel welcome and appreciated… And that is not to say they are rude or unkind because they are not. I just like to be greeted with a smile.

I ordered my food through Uber Eats, and I have to say, it felt like somebody's grandma was in the kitchen cooking it! They didn’t have exactly what I ordered, but they called to make sure I was satisfied with an alternative. The customer service was impeccable, and the food was absolutely amazing. As someone from NY who often gets disappointed with Jamaican food in Georgia, I’ve finally found my go-to spot! Rasta Pasta omg

I was very surprised at the inside aesthetic of this place as I am not a fan of the outside look of the Plaza. However, I do go to the cleaners in this plaza all the time. Very nice inside and very nice greeting from cashier. She helped me understand what was the specials for the day and went over the menu. Everything clean and fresh. Decent pricing and again they have specials. The brown stew chicken, oxtails, rice and peas, cabbage and plantains were all good. I was very pleased that I received quality taste from the first five items I tried. I really wanted the fried fish, but she told me to try it Escoviche style which was more expensive, but she says it comes with onions and sauce. The onions and carrots were very spicy and the snapper tasted like it had been cooked earlier and got dried out. I would have preferred a fresh battered fried red snapper. The cocoa bread taste like a regular roll. The beef patty was tasty, but when I look inside, I didn’t prefer the look so I didn’t finish it. The banana bread just didn’t push fully like true banana bread more like a box cake with banana in it. The pineapple upside down cake taste like a regular cake with the canned pineapple and jar cherries- it didn’t push like my mother‘s- It taste like an attempt. The bread pudding was the most transformed dessert. I like the raisins in it and it’s cut well portioned. It was fair. Because of the fish, bread, beef patty, and desserts. I would rate this place maybe a 4.5. The things I didn’t like can be upgraded easily so I would recommend this place. I feel like Jamaican restaurants all have the same menu. The sides are always rice and peas, cabbage, and plantains. I love when a restaurant stands out with a unique methods and vegetables. I know when you are new to opening, you may not want to make too many options while traffic is lower but options and uniqueness along with good advertising can drive traffic This restaurant is not on the main road so you’d have to pass by it or someone tell you about it. Only 3 shops in this plaza are open typically. I’m sure it will start coming up in your food searches near as Jonesboro is quite the food desert. Low vibrational food and over policing All around by design. If this place can keep up the authentic cuisine/great value while driving traffic, then they should hang around and do well. I’ve come back 3 times for the oxtails and cabbage

Parking: Free parking in the plaza, very easy access. The pet grooming, and the cleaners are typically the only other shops open.

Oxtails was really tough , hard to chew and swallow til i eventually threw it away . I had more butter beans then oxtail in my order .. the oxtails was overly sweetened as well . Wish my first experience was more satisfying then what I just got since it was a pregnancy craving lol

I found this Restaurant by accident, walked in ordered on the spot. The following week I went back. Food to me was DELICIOUS each time. I enjoyed the setting also, because I personally prefer small spaces and not a large crown when dining out. Customer service GREAT. I over 60 so In my day CUSTOMER SERVICE was a HUGE DEAL. It can make or BREAK a business. I will be going back, probably next week.??
