Food Tastes great, but for $34.55. The meat on my plate was very small quantity. They really need to increase the meat portions to support there meals and cost of them.

I give it a three simply because the food is delicious very nice portions but the Mac & cheese??? Is literally noodles & shredded cheese the dumbest $7 i ever spent I could have made that myself. No seasoning on noodles & cheese whatsoever. The oxtails. For $40 I’d at least want one full oxtail with some meat on it. It’s like i paid $40 for rice & peas & a pinch of meat. That was very disappointing

However,I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED! We ordered a beef patty, 2 jerk pasta pasta and a small order or Mac from the dinner special menu
The beef patty actually tasted homemade, not too crusty and very flavored
The jerk R. pasta was good. Very flavored and just enough spice.
The mac was pretty okay also.
The restaurant was well decorated, great music and vibes going and the young ladies at the counter were so friendly (not too common in Caribbean restaurants)
Definitely will be back! 10/10

The quality of food has gone all the down. I paid $28.00 for a small oxtail plate. It had 4 baby pieces of oxtail, rice & cabbage. The rice & peas were not edible. I have no idea who made this food today, but I threw the entire plate in the trash. I ate the 4 pieces of oxtail (they were really good) & the rest went to waste. I literally had to fry me 2 pieces of chicken bc it was not filling at all. Very disappointing & tiring after a long day of work. I will never spend another penny at this place. They have lost a loyal customer. This place used to really be something serious. I used to love it. The price has went up & quality/portion has gone down. Then have the nerve to ask for a tip on the kiosk BEFORE you even get & try the food. I am usually the one to take back bad food but I had no energy today. I took the L & the best thing I could ever do was never visit Jamaican Taste again.
Thus was my 1st time eating at Jamaican Taste, but it would not be my last. The service was awesome, and the food was delicious. Everything was cooked fresh, customer service excellent. I highly recommend coming here to eat.

This was my first time trying this restaurant and i am so dissatisfied ! First , my order came up to $30 for a small oxtail plate i did not mind and went on to pay for it. However as soon as i received my receipt, i asked the cashier “ well how much is the large “ she said $35 so i asked her very nicely can i switch it to a large and she told me no. Once i received my food i was also disappointed about that as well because it was no meat on my oxtails , just FAT !! And it was only a tiny corner of cabbage. I rate this place a 1/10

Hubby and I find this restaurant to have the best authentic Jamaican food. The place is extremely clean, and the food? Wow! It's the tastiest.
Hubby had jerk chicken wings. Look at those fresh vegetables! He had white rice with ox tail gravy.
I love the white meat jerk chicken dinner. I substitute the cabbage and plantains for extra rice and peas. Yum! We had strawberry lemonade.
