This is a small order of chicken curry. It was absolutely delicious! By the way if you add a side of mac and cheese it’s $8! What a robbery lol. The cashier smiled and laughed as if it was okay to charge that much. Overall, vibe was great, food is good, price? Idk man, maybe I don’t make enough money that’s why I’m salty about wanting to pay $8 for a side of mac and cheese. It’s not like it’s a sit down restaurant with waiters and waitresses. Is it that good?

I just ordered jerk chicken only on uber eats and received a bag that was open, water all at the bottom, with 3 oxtails. I will never go to them again. Second time and I did not enjoy the pasta the first. Never again.

Please if you want good Jamaican food, come here! We got the small Jerk chicken plate, a vegetable plate with beef patties, two sides of mac and cheese and the oxtail mac patty. The drinks we got were the strawberry lemonade and the pink ginger lemonade. Everything was good! Service 10/10 (we had so much food leftover)

I visited the Jamaican Taste on March 24,2024 and I was very disappointed for the first time. I have been ordering food from here for the last 2 years and never had a complaint. I spent $75.00 for 2 plates of jerk turkey wings, 1 plate of curry chicken and 1 plate of brown stew chicken. All of the food was so bland, even the peas and rice. After bragging about your establishment to my 2 friends that was from out of town it was a left down. I started to call and complaint but decided to do this review. Maybe it's a new cook or was just a day. I will visit again but I will wait awhile before I go back and probably check the reviews before I do go.The establishment is always clean and the staff are professional and polite.
We did a Uber order for mild jerk shrimp pasta. It was beyond mild. There was absolutely no jerk flavor. My husband had to add seasoning and jerk seasoning just for me to consider eating it. I’m disappointed because last time it was so good. This time, they dropped the ball.

Jerk chicken dinner was disappointing. Not enough jerk and not cook all the way through. The red beans and rice had no flavor. The beef patties were good and spicy. Next time I will stick with patties.

Horrible customer service. Ordered a veggie plate and everyone else skipped me. When I checked my food it was literally 2 scoops of rice in a large plate. They’re not giving you your moneys worth. And the food is very very bland. I have tried to give them 4 chances and it’s a fail every time. The only thing that is good is their juice !! Will not be returning. FIRESIDE will forever get my service. They fill your plate up and give you your moneys worth.Vegetarian options: A few vegetarian options
