The service and the food is wonderful...

THE BEST VEGAN BURGER HANDS DOWN!!!

I ate here last week for the first time since they switched to a food truck full time and here’s my experience:

Food - I got a hot lemon pepper sandwich that included lettuce, tomatoes, house-made vegan ranch, red onions (which I asked them to take off), pickles, and the baked cauliflower. It looked very delicious. I liked the flavor, but it was a little too salty/acidic for me with the pickles, lemon pepper, and the vinegar from the hot sauce. (I’d suggest maybe trading the pickles for a sweeter pickle and the hot sauce for one that is more spicy and less vinegary. Also, putting more ranch on the sandwich would be nice. I couldn’t really taste it.)

Service - The guy who checked me out was the owner, if I remember correctly. He was kind and very knowledgeable of the items on the menu.

Atmosphere - The snowball place that they were parked at was pretty quiet aside from the busy highway that it sits on. There was plenty of space to park, and the food truck itself looked nice and clean from what I can see on the outside. Though, I almost passed the place and the food truck doesn’t stand out, so I didn’t see it at first.

Other - The way the menu on the first side was written was a little confusing. I couldn’t tell what options were available with cauliflower and it didn’t say what all was on each item. But, I asked the man who took my order a few questions and he was able to clarify things for me. (I was suggest maybe asking different customers’ feedback on the layout of the menu to see how best to structure it.)

Also, maybe include a section for sides (possibly get a bigger board to write the menu on).

Overall I had a decent experience, and I’m excited to go back and try something else next time!

While treating my children to Snoballs (and not wanting them myself) I was pleasantly surprised to see this food truck in the same lot. I had multiple questions that he had no problems answering. The kids and I enjoyed the loaded nachos with no reservations of it being vegan. Great portion size and toppings throughout. The sweet heat was savory while still palatable by my spice-sensitive child. We also tried the lemonade and tea. Looking forward to our next visit!

The food at Nut Cafe is absolutely AMAZING! Finally, a vegan restaurant where the food don’t taste like they trying to substitute something. I love it and recommend anybody who even thinking about going here to just go ahead and go so you don’t keep missing out. Better hope I don’t get it all before you get there cause me and my husband are on it! I mean an easy 10 out of 5 stars!

We're forever grateful and thankful for your food and services every time we slide by you know we're getting A1 SERVICE and Quinoa Nachos off the rip! This time We were lost looking for the food truck today around 3:52pm so of course we called the bizzness line to get the 411 on their whereabouts, my mans was kind enough to give us the info and even wait the extra eight minutes it took us to arrive to serve us. Man I lie to y'all not we were so happy he waited that we decided to order more than we originally came for lol, I'm so full right now it doesn't make any sense. One again THANK YOU for your patience, kindness and top of the line service.

I just had a a horrible experience at your restaurant. I called in an order at 12:52pm and was told my order would be ready in 10-15min. When I arrived I stood in line which wasn’t a problem and then my order was placed at 1:24 pm. I didn’t mind that, if I had known this was the last day you would be opened , I would have selected another location to eat. I left my 81-year-old mother and dog in the car. After waiting 30 min, I asked for a refund and I was told I couldn’t get one. I had not consumed any food or even seen the food for that fact. I was. Given my food at 2:10pm. I was not offered even a complimentary beverage. Black establishments get a bad rep for bad business like this. I have been here several times. Today my order was $60. I am very disgusted and shocked at the unprofessionalism. I would like to see where this refund policy is in writing. I would like to see that to feel ok about how I was treated today. OMG!!! There vanilla vegan cake!!! Chef's kiss!! So moist and delicious.. does not taste like it's vegan! I could eat a birthday style cake like that! ??????????

Reasonable prices for vegan food. Food is always consistent. I've been here several times and have never had a bad experience. Hope they expand because they deserve it

They have not answered their phone in years & CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON EXISTENT. The owner is very nice, but her husband is MOODY & can be smug. I only go there for the cake, but they NEVER ANSWER A PHONE so I only go once or twice a year now vs weekly. WE NEED MORE VEGAN BAKERIES IN ATL WITH THE ANCIENT TECHNIQUE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE.(UPDATE) THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOW EXCELLENT, BUT THE STRAWBERRY CAKE TASTED LIKE FLOUR , SYRUP & IT WASN'T EDIBLE. I GUESS THE HUSBAND RETALIATED & STOPPED BAKING THE CAKES. NOW I DON'T HAVE ANY REASON TO GO THERE ANYMORE.?
