my sister and I visited today. we drove 3.5 hours for a bucket list visit. the staff was outstanding! and the food was even better! everything came out steaming hot (literally steaming), huge portions, and delicious! Fried Green Tomatoes was a favorite movie of ours growing up. and our visit rekindled that live of the movie!
This place is definitely making money on the movie name alone and not the food. The food is horrible. Instant mashed potatoes and canned vegetables. The fried green tomatoes were crunchy on the outside and hard in the inside. I do not recommend!
Drove 30 miles out the way, it was of course closed when it says it should be opened.
Food and atmosphere are amazing!!!!! Definitely a family favorite!!! The employees are friendly and down to earth!!!
Decent selection of items and a very personable gentleman working. Great conversation. Lots of interesting stuff related to the movie. Decent price.
So good!!! The food is amazing! Our server(from Chicago) was perfect! We stopped before heading back home to Kentucky. Grew up in Macon, so we have visited often over the years. Nothing beats home-cooked comfort food and iced tea.

Stopped in around 4 in the afternoon and it wasn't crowded. Had great sandwiches and the waitress was kind enough to tell us the story behind the film. ? only sad thing is, everyone was closing shop so we didn't get to browse around the little town much.
Many trinkets and things to collect. Always can find something for anyone.
This is a MUST whether yiu are traveling thru Georgia or even if you live nearby. The food is excellent and the service even better!
