My husband just surprised me with a stop in on our way home from Florida vacation. Fried green tomatoes has been a favorite movie of mine ive seen so much I can quote it word for word. Fried green tomatoes is also a favorite food of ours as a family and most of what we grow in our garden to freeze back getting us through winter. I cried so many tears when he pulled off thinking we were lost and I realized where we'd stopped. It was an absolutely amazing experience. To see it all, walk it all, sit on the porch while waiting for our meal, that did not by any means disappoint. The service and our waitress was just as wonderful. It holds a dear spot in my core memories for sure. Also, we're very much picky eaters. Im a baker and love to cook. We traveled this vacation through Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia and Florida, ate at many restaurants that left us excited for our journey but eager to get back home to mommys cooking (my cooking). My husband and child are very picky, this was ournlast meal of our adventures and the best. We could smell it cooking while waiting and both my husband and child said (wow, it smells just like home). and warmed the heart and belly in many ways. ❤️
Very good food ! Nothing else needs to be said ! Get there early because its really busy but for good reason .
You'll definitely find something worth buying!
Waited forever for food; it was hot but nothing tasted seasoned at all. Place had just opened and didn’t appear clean since salt shaker was absolutely gross.
A cool little shop with lots of stuff!
my sister and I visited today. we drove 3.5 hours for a bucket list visit. the staff was outstanding! and the food was even better! everything came out steaming hot (literally steaming), huge portions, and delicious! Fried Green Tomatoes was a favorite movie of ours growing up. and our visit rekindled that live of the movie!
This place is definitely making money on the movie name alone and not the food. The food is horrible. Instant mashed potatoes and canned vegetables. The fried green tomatoes were crunchy on the outside and hard in the inside. I do not recommend!
The little town of Juliette is a great place to go and also see and eat in the Whistle Stop Cafe. Those Fried Green Tomatoes are fantastic. And this little town is where they filmed the movie. Nice day trip from Atlanta and Lawrenceville.
This is a must-visit destination for anyone who has seen the movie. The establishment offers exceptional Southern fare that evokes a sense of nostalgia, as if stepping back in time. Whenever we have family or friends visiting, we always ensure to include a stop here to experience its timeless charm.
Had T-shirt my wife wanted.

Drove 30 miles out the way, it was of course closed when it says it should be opened.
Food and atmosphere are amazing!!!!! Definitely a family favorite!!! The employees are friendly and down to earth!!!
Decent selection of items and a very personable gentleman working. Great conversation. Lots of interesting stuff related to the movie. Decent price.
So good!!! The food is amazing! Our server(from Chicago) was perfect! We stopped before heading back home to Kentucky. Grew up in Macon, so we have visited often over the years. Nothing beats home-cooked comfort food and iced tea.
May have to rewatch Fried Green Tomatoes tonight❤️
Stopped in around 4 in the afternoon and it wasn't crowded. Had great sandwiches and the waitress was kind enough to tell us the story behind the film. ? only sad thing is, everyone was closing shop so we didn't get to browse around the little town much.
