“Black Barley has a laid-back vibe, and from the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm welcome. They also have a great selection of beers, and I really appreciated that they let us sample a few before deciding on a full pour.

The food is made to order and comes out surprisingly quickly.

We started with the fried pickles, which were perfectly crispy and, unlike those I’ve had at other restaurants, weren’t overly salty. I ordered the avocado burger with a fried egg, and it was simply delicious. It wasn’t overloaded with condiments, allowing the fresh flavors to shine through. We also tried the smoked wings, which were flavorful and made with simple ingredients that really let the quality of the food stand out.

Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back.“
