The food is good but the dumplings and the steam buns had the same filling. U ask for water and it is tap water. The service is just ok . The guy behind the window making the noodles is kind of amazing though to watch.

Service was horrible. Our server did not care and gave us the bare minimum. We had to ask for everything. Got my order wrong. Asked for a roast duck noodle soup, but a roast pork noodle soup was brought out. After correcting it, they literally gave me all the BONES and SKIN of the duck, NO MEAT. Also, the scallion pancake probably like one scallion chopped up in the whole pancake. Either the owner or the chef was being SO CHEAP with the quality of food.

The best chinese restaurant I've ever been to!!! The soup dumplings are the bomb!!! All are freshly cooked. My go to orders are spicy chicken, hand pulled noodles stir fried . Egg stir fried rice, beef soup and soup dumplings!!! The place is also very spacious and clean.

This place has always been near and dear to my heart! I would not go anywhere else from the delicious food to the excellent staff.

I recently visited LanZhou Ramen with high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. To start, the restaurant advertises its main dish as "ramen", but what we got was actually a hand-pulled noodle soup, a traditional Chinese dish, not the Japanese ramen we anticipated. While the noodles themselves were decent, the broth lacked any depth of flavor, and the beef was disappointingly chewy and overcooked. Our dining experience was further marred by the service. Every request made to our server was met with apparent disdain, as if our mere presence was a bother. Initially, we were provided with three glasses and a large bottle of water, but the bottle remained unrefilled throughout our meal. After placing our order, we felt neglected as our server did not check on us again until it was time to present the bill.Adding to the oddities, our food was delivered by a robot. This might sound innovative, but it actually detracted from the experience, as we had to stand and retrieve our dishes from the tray ourselves due to the server's absence. As a group of college friends reuniting after a long time, we naturally wanted to spend some time catching up. Despite the restaurant not being busy and plenty of empty tables, the staff made it uncomfortably clear through their glances that they wanted us to leave. One of the most basic aspects of service in a restaurant is ensuring that guests have water. Once our bottle was empty, a server collected it but did not offer a refill, a basic courtesy one would expect.Overall, the experience was underwhelming, and the lack of hospitality made it even worse. I regret to say I won't be returning to LanZhou Ramen, nor would I recommend it to others. It's disappointing when a restaurant fails to deliver not just on the quality of food, but more so on the basic tenets of customer service.

Terrible hours. Says it's open, drove 30 minutes away only to find out it was not open. Will not be coming back.

This was a treat meal for me. Loved the steamed dumplings and duck noodle soup. Only thing was the duck came with bones on it so it took a bit of deconstruction to eat but it was delicious. Can't wait to come back.

Great place for more authentic Chinese cuisine. The soup dumplings and chive Pancakes are the best.

Took my wife on a very chili January Friday night date to 3+3 Lanzhou. If you get cold easily, ask for a seat away from the windows. There were several tables and booths, and the place was half full at 6 pm. A family speaking Mandarin (cranky not Japanese, of which in familiar) sat at a long table. Perhaps that means the meals were authentic Chinese. There were only two young men hosting, taking orders, and handling tasks the robot couldn't, like handing out forks. The robot didn't like to park very close to your table when it brought orders. On the end of each table is a self-service center offering napkins, chopsticks, and sauces. There is a great variety of rice, fried rice, and noodle bowls. The menu claimed they could offer 4 thicknesses of noodles. We both ordered the Roast Pork noodle soup and went with the house selection for noodle width - about that of spaghetti, as it turns out. Because it was our first time there, we also ordered 2 dim sum - Crab Rangoon and Fried Pot Sticker Dumplings (gyoza). They were tasty too both of us.My wife was famished, so she finished off her noodles and dim sum.The sweetened Roast Pork did not look like white meat char siu but rather like red beef. I couldn't finish my bowl. It was not like Japanese Ramen that I am used to.

I tried this place recently, and I can honestly say the food was very good. It was flavorful and there were good portions. Unfortunately, I can’t say that I would be back. The establishment was not very clean. The napkin dispenser was filthy. I looked at each one on every table, and every single one was disgusting. The touchscreen on the robot machine that brings out the food was sticky and very dirty. Also, the trays the plates were placed on look like they hadn’t been wiped off all day. I can only imagine what the kitchen actually looks like. I should have known when I walked in, as there wasn’t a posted health food score. Maybe I missed it, but it definitely wasn't prominently displayed.
